12 May 2025
It is only a mild improvement over last year's Helio G100, however.

From the comparison table, it's basically nothing improved. Just rebranded to new name 🙄🤦🏻‍♂️

This could've been a worthy upgrade with 4K video recording support and UFS 3.1 storage support. This however ain't it.

        Yet another rebranded g95

            No thank you.

6 years old G90t on steroids.

When they will replace Cortex A76 with Cortex A78 High Performance CPU Cores. And A55 with A57 High Efficiency CPU Cores?

infinix tecno should use this in their vanilla note60 and
camon 50 and add ip66 ip68 ip69k to compete against
the realme c75 or the realme 14t which have those ips

                  !

some says phone makers are going to sell leftover helio g series but then they would continue so with g200 and g300 with lil improvement for each gen...it would take another few decades for g series to outperform snapdragon 845 from 2018 lol...

So no noticeable gain and the improvement in video quality which tops out at 1080p makes me smile. The extra 100mhz from the GPU doesn't do much. So it's largely a renaming of the G100 which was a G99. Might as well buy older models on sale

Ancient A76, A55, G57. Just another refresh and rebadge. How long it will take MediaTek to make budget SoC with A725 and G625/G725? Another 5 years, when they will be as ancient as A76, A55 and G57 are now?
