Thinness more noticeable but then they are still using old battery tech

Sure WAS, and it stopped being relevant in 2017, and for good reason.
"At least main cam is pretty good."
At this price point that's nowhere near enough, even most midrange phones have pretty good main cameras. The display and the SoC are pretty good too. However it doesn't matter what's good about this device, if one can't trust the battery life that comes with it.

At least main cam is pretty good, ehm oh no it's NOT the one from Ultra.

Ugh, they should at least make it smaller and put silicone battery inside. But yeah, samsung at this point is just trying to copy apple aka upcoming iphone air when I hope they learn from huawei's mate XT instead, imagine a decent thin phone ala mate xt without the folding and better camera hardware (variable aperture and actually useful megapixel count).

I don't get all that whining about 3,900 mAh battery. I mean, Galaxy Note 10+ had 4,300 mAh battery, bigger screen and an oooooold 7nm inefficient chip. And it's battery runtimes were allright. It's not for you? Fine, there are S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. There will be buyers for this one just becouse it is something new and gorgeusly thin, but not so fragile like flip phones with their plastic screens.

To sum up: a slower SoC, a smaller main camera sensor, a 3x telephoto lens that has disappeared and a battery 20% smaller than the S25+ for a price higher than the S25+...

And after a year, you go to replace the battery since it is degraded. Also you might have to get the display or rear panel changed a few times since they're going to be very fragile, in order to make the phone slim they had to be slimmed down too, affecting the build
