All of the recently leaked specs were accurate, it seems.

thats one shitty battery

    I like it.
Would have liked it more if it were same screen size as the vanilla S25 and 149gr. 😍

ua82, 2 hours agoSpeakers probably be worse, throttle because of the slimnes... moreAccording to Dave2D's testing, the S25 Edge does have a complete cooling system with a vapor chamber, and here are his results:
      Snapdragon 8 Elite / 12 GB RAM
      Geekbench Run #1 - 9547
      Geekbench Run #4 - 9322
      Geekbench Run #8 - 9279

      No throttling :D

The speakers are very similar to the S25+.

The only real downside is the battery capacity, but there is a solution: silicon-carbon-based batteries. They just need to use it.

I don't remember what smartphone or tablet was that thin but was bending easily.
Thin was not that advantage I don't know it will be now

S25 Edge point is slimness, but the Z Fold6 is slimmer when open. Interesring.

ua82, 4 hours agoYes it would be if si/c batter tech didn't exist see samsung tried pushing the battery tech once and people are still talking about their phones blowing up about a decade later. cant really blame em for not hopping onto the freshest trend.

Battery life probably worse , you can have all the features but if battery isn't as good it's noticeable and annoying

Everythings been cut and you still paying premium for it just for lightness and thinness

The most hyped flop in smartphone technology.

Several phones under, at or a little above that price has more to offer many aspects. Samsung knows that, but they also know their loyal fans will buy even cat poop if it comes in a Samsung package.

But then again, this has slightly less battery than the regular S25, but with larger screen. So it would probably has slightly worse battery life than the regular S25. It might be alright for many, but definitely not a phone you want to use for scrolling Tiktok 24/7 or gaming. It's a premium phone for those using it just as a phone with occasional smartphone usage.

ua82, 5 hours agoIsn't it like 50-60 grams difference to what's al... moreEven a small weight difference makes a huge difference in daily use. Going from my bulky 187g Pixel 8 to the sleek 162g S25 felt like a leap into the future, the ergonomics are so much better.

I can only imagine how amazing a 6.7" thin flagship like this Edge would feel at 163g. Definitely looking forward to what comes next in this thin and light direction, especially when they figure out the battery's downside with tech like silicon-carbon batteries.

This is a fashion - tech product. More jewelery than phone. How big is the iphone battery? How many people buy those stupud expensive phones just to show the social status? For Samsung this is also a marketing strategy, just to show We can do it!

                                Why so many comments ?

If Samsung makes the battery life on this somehow good

It would actually be a disaster.. think about it

That would mean they would be deliberately holding back on battery optimizations on their phones with larger batteries

ua82, 4 hours agoYes it would be if si/c batter tech didn't exist They didn't implement that kind of batteries yet.
