Soulstorm, 17 Nov 2008Another big lol. Apple fanboy`s are so funny. Who needs Go... moreObviously it's not always about having 8 megapixel camera phones.

It's OSX and what it does.

Comparing the applications on other devices is like comparing playstation 3 games to playstation 1 games, Java and flash are poor substitutes for what is being done on iPhones.

Have you even used things like Fring on the iPhone?

Stick to your little fantasies garnered from half baked facts gleaned from whining forums all over the net and go join the circle jerk over in the Nokia 5800 section.

Another big lol. Apple fanboy`s are so funny.
Who needs Google Earth when you have Garmin and TomTom and all the other GPS sofware available to you ?
And have you ever heard of Google Maps? It`s available for Symbian/WinMo and it has StreetView for Java and Blackberry, but then again, who the hell uses it when you have those gps apps ?
Iphone killer ? My E90 Communicator kills the Iphone in functions + it has a QWERTY keyboard, and that`s a phone that is old as s*it. The Iphone only has a nicer interface + touchscreen (but there are a lot of smarthphone`s with touchscreen`s). Can the Iphone do what i said in the first comment on the page? No. An Nokia N95 can....oohhh, but i forgot, Iphone users are usually 15 year olds that only use the phone because it`s cool, they never do something on it besides calling and sending a sms (MMS is out of the question, yup)
And yes, of course they will take over the market, like they do on the computer os market-share, ups (http://marketshare.hitslink.com/report.aspx?qprid=8)..8 percent in a couple of decades, shees, that must suck.

See the big red area, the one that represents 2 phones by 1 manufacturer, that's after 15 months.

So go whine somewhere else about why you can't get things like Google Earth (complete with Streetview) on other phones from manufacturers who have been unsuccessfully trying to make an "iPhone killer" since they came into existence.

21.000 WinMobile applications only on XDA developers :)))). How many apps does Apple have? A couple of thousand max?. Hell, Symbian has a couple of thousand apps. Cool apps?:))) Haha. How about practical apps for people who aren`t noobs?
But hell, the Iphone ca do all the things i posted before..and even more:)))

Yes, i have to admit that Apple is way way ahead of it`s competition, there phones have 5 to 8 Mpx cameras, video recording of the highest quality, there file transfer protocols like bluetooth work perfect, especially file transfer and A2DP (can`t have a music phone without stereo support, can you?), they have the best screen`s on the market, 3.8 inch 800x600 rezolution of course, they have Skyfire with flash for full internet browsing, HSPDA 7.2 Mbs, great GPS applications other than that useless G.Maps, and let`s not forget there great business side that blows the E series out of the water. Oh yeah...Apple rullz, Nokia, Samsung and HTC have no chance, there already dropping out of the market :)). They have the greatest smartphone on the market, but they have 1 problem : they missed the smart part :)).
                        ROFL :D .

apt.pupil, 15 Nov 2008that nice feature is still not going to get me an iphone. ... moreI've got 12GB of music on my iPhone, I bought 2 songs from iTunes and they were free.

Being registered makes it easier to get apps from the phone, then again you can also jailbreak it and install whatever you like.

Have you stopped selling Nokia's too?

You have to register to upgrade the maps, use the music store or buy an Ngage game.

You are aware that developers of iPhone apps get 70% of the revenue generated from App store.

How much do developers for Symbian or Windows Mobile get from sites that offer "free" (i.e. pirated) software and make money from some pretty dodgy advertising.

How much do they make from cheap disks loaded with cracked software which are available in many countries?

Why don't you think about issues like this when you whine about DRM, by not selling iPhones you have cut yourself out of profit, you would have lost potential customers who would go somewhere else, rather than being told what to buy by you.

Then use a turbosim to unlock it to use any carrier you like, never giving anything out to anyone.

Though I guess you have to go through AT&T if you want to take advantage of their $70+ 3G data plan... but I'm in China so not a prob for me...
