Anonymous, 12 Sep 2013Well the iPhone, any variant, is only a featurephone so in ... moreUnlike most of you, Samsung's executives are smart enough to realize this is not about who is copying who but it's about strategy. Off course they are strictly prohibited to indicate the 64-bit issue since they are manufacturing it for Apple so they have to wait until it was announced first by Apple.

64 bit CPU is useless if the operating system and the application is not designed and optimized for 64-bit. Now IOS 7 is designed for 64-bit environment and 64-bit application is available (not many but at least there is a few). If Apple did what they are good at and what they have done before, which is persuading developer to develop 64-bit only popular apps, there will be a lot of people will buy iPhone 5S just because they like the apps. Samsung, on the other hand, will have to depend on Google for 64-bit optimized Android and also apps (a lot of developer don't like Android due to piracy issue) so announcing 64-bit CPU is a strategic way to "beg" Google and apps developer for this 64-bit apps.

Apple is hoping everybody is just as dump as you but fortunately Samsung execs can read between the line.

        Guys,
        pls quit it...

if u want a phone it shud luk lyk a phone...
bigger screens are not for phones..

Apple has created 3 different categories in which we have a iphone which can easily be put into your pocket,
An ipad for large screen users and an ipad mini which solves most probs abt screen resolutions...

it completely depends on wat u want and i find ios very damn simple to use..
both my 60yr old mom and 10yr old kid can use it..

not that i hate android or samsung..
but guys u ned to agree that making 10 mobiles in an yr with 10 screen types doesnt make it easier for the buyer..

        I use both a samsung note2 and an iphone5..
Iphone5 seems very handy as it can be carried everywhr i go..

processor wise (After reading this post) i tries opening same apps on both my devices and Iphone cleary won in most cases..
but does that 0.0001sec delay even matter...

        grow up guys..

and i'd like to thank bat warden for all the info...

someone comment here that 5s is 2 years behind in s4....your day dreaming right? S4(quadcore/octacore) vs 5s(dual core) can't beat the superior speed of 5s...were talking here that 5s uses only dualcore processor, what if apple use the quadcore thing? hmmmmm no justice here ^__^

In fact the store manager at the Source (now owned by Bell Canada) who is also using Samsung Galaxy note 2 said he loved it because of the big screen and that it's capable of doing just about anything. Just face it, 4 inch screens these days are only used for LOW END Android phones so if you are happy using your phone with tiniest screen, then so be it!

As i said, i like samsung products, but at the same time i can say that iphone is a good piece of technology. It just doesnt have what i need (and i dont think it ever will) but it does what my mum needs it to do, so she got one as per my advice. And i'm afraid the experience i had with both laptops under Mac OSX was bad to say it that way.

Windows 7 under BootCamp on the MacBook Air was WAAAAAAY way more stable than Mac OSX was.

There is a reason why they call the MacBook Air the best Windows laptop lol. Nah to be honest, my Samsung 9-series (NP900X4C) laptop is way better in every ways and makes the MacBook Air's to look like a joke.

All i can see is spotty faced kids jumping at each other.

Im using samsung products for over a decade now, i dont even know why, maybe ive got hooked up when ive got n-100 ? I have samsung tv, home cinema, and a phone.
Tv and home cinema are decent but not newest around, i think i might be using mostly samsung electronics because i find them reliable (my sgs2 however died on me) but mostly because i can get what i need. What i needed was a phone with removable battery, sd card slot, and most important of them all with biggest possible screen. So ive got note 2 as nobody had anything similar at the time. And from my point of view its better than sgs4, because of screen size. I didnt got it because of samsung logo, it could have any logo on it and i would by it anyway.

All that copycat thing just makes me laugh. Especially this 64bit thing.

Its like people would say that renault (or whoever was second on the market) copied mercedes when they gave us a diesel car.

Or even better. Going by that logic i can see that apple is a copycat... why u ask? Remember sgs1? It had 4" screen... and what screen size iphone5/c/s has? BOOM!

                                      seriously? Grow up...
