Xiaomi 15S Pro shows up in Geekbench results with surprisingly competitive Xring O1

19 May 2025
Xiaomi's first in-house chipset will give the Snapdragon 8 Elite and Dimensity 9400 a run for their money, if these results are legitimate.

If this is true n all, and if the GPU has open sourced drivers or smth, I'd definitely buy a Xiaomi in the future, given its still on Android. Would be nice if there's another option to buy a phone for emulating games.

Till it's released and reviewed by unbiased tech vlogger cos this sounds like another promise to me

uh oh, US ban is coming for Xiaomi

Proof that Xiaomi and other Chinese companies don't (entirely) need US companies to make their stuff. TSMC is from Taiwan anyways, or Xiaomi might be using SMIC just like Huawei.

Anyway, benchmarks are great but THERMALS is more important. Can't use a phone if its burning like hell 6 minutes into exporting a video/playing an intensive game.

next company to be in Trump's ban list, it would be interesting to see the future of xiaomi chip

This is impressive if the leaks are true, but I take this with a grain of salt, I am willing to guess that this will be 8 gen 3 performance.

Quicker than 8 Elite. Xring is off to a flying start.

                      aint no way

Qimchi, 10 hours agoIf it's efficient. It's BIG. Google's Tensor... moreTensor's problem was never battery size.

If it's efficient. It's BIG. Google's Tensor falls short on performance and they never really had good battery life, probably because of the small battery in their phones. If Xiaomi can optimize their chip with HyperOS, we have a true competitor to Apple, Qualcomm and Mediatek.

What Samsung can do ,xiaomi can do better

Samsung and Google ,better open your ears wide ooo🙄

I'm so confused, GSM have said it's behind the 8 elite yet the pictures of the geekbench results show it above the 8 elite and with no dimensity 9400 results...what?

Claymon, 11 hours agoI'll keep in mind that the pros of getting a new chips... moreThe architecture of this chip is still very much arm and what's run on it is still android they need to make it efficient with new process or software stuff, they are not doing that. We already know how good TSMC is and how good hyper os is
