I think this may be as close to the Omnia as we're gonna get.
Looking at the ATT lineup, I just don't see how another WinMo touch screen phone is going to fit into a lineup that already has the Epix and Incite in it. (Not to mention Samsung's Eternity hitting the high end touchscreen function phone market). Other than an arguably more attractive color scheme and a higher resolution camera - this unit seems to bring everything the Omnia promised.
I'll want to see how it looks in person, but if it's close I'm buying it. I'll let others wait for the 'Great Pumpkin' that's become the ATT version of the Omnia.... :-)

Granted the front of the phone is not the best looking, I'm all over it. I'm more concerned about the features and functionality of the phone. There are so many touch screen phones that are not Windows Mobile based or they leave out key features like WiFi, accelerometer or storage card slot.

AT&T - For the love of God, Jesus, Allah or whatever is revered, PLEASE dump these crap phones in the gutter and bring along some good, juicy stuff like the Touch HD and Xperia. NOBODY in the US wants boring looking LGs.

Or else HTC Fuze is close next, comes with physical QWERTY. lets see. The way AT&T released two winmo in a row before Christmas, I don't think they will release Omnia soon. All they can do is get T*Omnia. But US carriers will never release such feature rich phone in US. its sad.

It's gonna be a long time till AT&T or any other carrier in the U.S. is going to realese a 5mp camera phone especially touchscreen ...I think T-mobile has one but it sucks ...just get it unlocked online and switch sims ...that's all we've got to do.
