Well, I have seen lots of WP8 phones around on my travels through the ME-region. And the facts don't lie...just be honest and let's not pretend that iPhones rule the world. They just have great marketing :P .

Any data on the models sold?

veegee, 15 Sep 2013May be you have gone only to iPhone shop.im yet to see one single lumia phone in the hands of a person (mind you there are plenty on the shleves) in Dubai..

UAE is the top market for mobile phones in the world per capita..so if you dont see lumia's here, its not great news for Nokia...

here its Android, different brands and not only samsung(i made 6 family members including myself buy the HTC one and my oldest brother now is waiting for HTC one Max), BBs ( i know, but fading fast i would say) and ofcourse iphones..
in this mobile crazed city, I'm yet to see a lumia in the hands of a person..
perhaps they are selling in other ME countries but not here..and perhaps there are people with lumias here but not too popular as the tiles are ugly and undesired in general...i hope they were not including nokia N9 in the sales ;)
