HTC are so stupid for implementing only 2 function button... so pitty as the phone could look great, but i guess it's cause the speakers need more space. still stupid. they need to implement 3 function buttons as part of the screen like sony and lg does.

Hopefully they announce the One Max soon.... if not i will be ordering a Note 3 at the end of the month. :-)

Unfortunately this appears more HTC ONE plus not MAX.
Though there may be more versions if we assume they are just getting stuff out for China first.
Then the international version could be different
Samsung do the same thing all the time.
Different versions for different regions.
However to keep in the game HTC need to let people know what's coming pretty soon

Comparison pics with the Note are misleading because the bottom(or top) edges are not on the same level. One Max is a really tall device, but if the speakers are worth it, go for it.

Too big, too thick and chip-set is 600?? that is already outdated + camera is same, no s-pen-like thing.. This should be competing with Note 3, but even Note 2 is better in many aspects than OneMax. I really don't know what's with Htc and its strategy and goal with this move..

I really hope this will be only for China otherwise it will have no chance against Note3 if it really comes with SD600. The device looks great with a bit minimised bezels so it would be so stupid to soil all this with an outdated chipset.
Come on HTC! This is your chance to get back. Just put the SD800 and make an 8-ultrapixel cam together with a micro SD expansion and you will blow other competitors away!!

Wow, a MicroSD slot, finally!
They could tighten the icon grid though, 4 icons in a row is a waste of screen estate - the 5,9 diagonal easily allows for at least 5 comfortably placed icons in one row.
