No damage to the phone whatsoever. Even if the phone gets damaged while repairing,they will change the phone body for you without any charges.

Further, i have read stories about refurbished handsets replaced...I have finally given it for repair and ready for the worst..whats the use of having such camera which is good for nothing!

When i went there at Basvangudi she also told me that she has not heard of it and if its a problem...engg. would fix it. though their tech team accepted its a known issue and they would replace a part in camera...most likely the sensor!

Also i have running lines in certain conditions. I am contemplating whether to take it to the service center in Bangalore. Was surprised when the lady at the service center told me that they hadnt heard of the problem before.

Not yet in India, purple tint issue is irritating and the customer service guys say it will be resolved with 4.3 update but i doubt it. Even after 4.3 if its not resolved then im going for the replacement.

I'm more eager for Sense 5.5 than 4.3 update for my HTC One. Sense 5.5 comes with more enhancements than 4.3 ;-)

I am From Bangalore(India)! I have to same camera issue on my HTC ONE .. I took it to service center , they asked me to leave the Phone at the service center for a week to get the camera replaced! I did not agree to it as i do not trust the technicians here & i doubt they have enough resource to open a moulded phone & Put it back as it was..for that the service center team asked me to wait for 4.3 UPDATE.. Today the HTC ONE MAX was launched with 4.3 Jelly Bean & Sense 5.5 !! So i feel HTC ONE will get the 4.3 update very shortly..

Do you think all of them would have hardware fault? If such is the case then HTC should do a recall of those phones. Btw, I'm facing the same ever since updating it to 4.2.2

Its a zero gap phone with 1/10 tearibility. Have asked HTC if they can confirm the 4.3 Update or replace my handset, but no repair for me. Getting jittery with thought of surgery for a 3 month old handset!

What's the guarantee that tomorrow we will not have the same issue with any custom ROM? Better get it serviced now else ready to pay hefty sum later on:-)

hey guys, i have htc one with a 1.36.599.1 software number and i am still running on 4.1.2 android with no updates available!! the only update i got was a cam update that changed the logo of the camera to an orange one and added HDR! i need some help please!
