This purple tint problem wouldn't be solved until and unless u won't submit your phone for camera replacement. This is hardware issue. I suffered alot... Finally I submitted my phone to service center.

Sadly in India, we still have 4.2.2 in OTP for HTC One. just updated on of my friends' phone yesterday to 4.2.2 :(

Who are on 4.1.2 will get update shortly straight to the 4.3
Who are already on the 4.2.2 will get update to 4.3 in late October or early November (also sense 5.5 will be included, that's why there is delay).
