worm, 21 Nov 2008That is why i will not give up nokia for another phonegreat! so GSMArena is a promoter of Nokia... I wonder if other companies are doing the same. Maybe the content supervisor of GSMArena aren't pushing enough to compel other companies to reveal a little of what's behind the curtains.

Interesting how Nokia is revealing this kind of videos now after the major roadmap leaks and major phone issues ie. A Cover, B Cover, Batteries and etc.
Am sure we all know what quality problems Nokia is facing with their phones nowadays... from 5610 to N81 to N96 and etc...

Sony Ericsson released a whole number of videos and there were three dedicated articles on their testing process on mobile review, a few years back. So this is basically nothing new or out of the ordinary.

Nokia is the worst cell phone manufacturer n the world, my n95 is a flimsy slider, without screen protector and a bad construction. This video is only for the foolish people, if you buy this toy you will feel how this piece of cheap plastic start to dissasemble in your hand. This is simply the true.

it's a really smart move for Nokia to promoting their phone.
(just like Siemens did with their M-klasse test video years ago)
now, i wonder if the other manufacturer would release the same videos.
LOL

Tomorrow morning I had the intention to sell my Nokia N82 and buy the new SE C905, but when I watched this video I changed my mind immediately. Keep going Nokia, but please equip your phones with batteries of bigger capacity and lower SAR!
P.S.: When I bought the N82 I knew that the SAR rating of this phone was 0.62 W/kg and suddenly Nokia changed her mind and announced that both silver(!) and black editions have 1.35 W/kg SAR rating. Why Nokia?

To bad they dont do thie on their software!!!
As for the keypad comment, i have now seen 3 6210's back in my shop this week with faulty keypad, and should we also mention the 5500??
Being the devils advocate, maybe they have released this to build confidence back in their product!!

apacheman, 21 Nov 2008Bah...Humbug! They expect us to belive that crap. Testing e... moreWarranty is void on water damage because the phones are tested to be water resilient, not water PROOF. There's only so much they can take.

Well, it's nice that they test their phones so rigorously. However, I still prefer to wait six after the release of any new phone before I buy it. I figure this way there's been time for any faults to be discovered and revisions to be released. I don't like being some manufacturer's beta tester. :P

Apparently they didn't test the power key on the E51... Its probably the single most badly designed key Nokia have ever produced.

Made me like - and respect - Nokia that much more. Even though I use my blackberry, I still love using my E62 at times.
