nokia,as a company should do utmost care in thier distribution system as the service oriented company base where they give thier service,as the service provided by the service provider is very bad.

Few years back, in Bangladesh, there were no proper authorized nokia dealers in the country. So we people used to buy nokia sets from unauthorized open markets, which never offered any sorts of warranty supports. But surprisingly, those handsets were the most robust sets we Bangladeshis have ever seen. Most of those 10 year old sets are still running, found on many people's hands. Now that we have a wide distribution channel of "original" made by nokia products, with 1 year warranty stickers, the handsets are the worst ever seen. No handset lasts for more than 1 to 1.5 years. So what should we expect from nokia? Does nokia give this type of hardware testing for a 3rd world country like Bangladesh where people have to save many months' income to buy a handset?

hohoho, 22 Nov 2008Nah, say all we can about this testing, but have we seen th... moreI agree,we cant judge without having seen for the other phones tests, i got a SE for 2 yrs now and its still working.it's gone down two floors once, landed on concrete 3 times, was in my pocket i was running(dont as why) collided into the wall(dont laugh) the phone was in my pocket went full force directly into the wall, got wet in the rain.and hey its still working...fully functional(apart the joystik,SE have a bad reputation for this but i see they are replacing it with d-pads now on the newer models,so this problem is also going to vanish)
After this post,if anybody thinks i hate nokia, well this is not the case, even i like nokia, nokia's the best for bass in its speakers and its surround speakers are simply wonderful...

"We wonder if Sony Ericsson did this test for the S500 and W580 that earned their sorry reputations for having faulty keypads." I like that part.

Oh yeah!! I'm the very first person to testify that Nokia are testing their phones prior for release.
My Nokia 6120 classic is really rock solid. It's 1 year and two months old already and yet it still look new!! I have dropped it on a tarmac twice, still working!! I have dropped it 3 times on a cement floor during the time I play bike, it still worked! Got it splashed with water and have been thrown many times by my younger brother, oh damn it still works!!!
6120 is the most durable phone...ever!

Nah, say all we can about this testing, but have we seen the testing of other phone company yet? we can't judge whether this testing show Nokia is strongest phone. there's a lot to know about how they test software coz it it sometime comes with malfunctions.

I've opened up a Nokia phone as well as a Samsung one. No matter how chic Samsung phones look; the technology used inside a Nokia phone is atleast 5yrs ahead of Samsung

If you ask me, Nokia's bricks always have been the most sturdy handsets on the market. Everytime I see someone dropping a Nokia, I always remind them not to worry, because... it is a Nokia xD Used to play soccer with my old Nokia 6610 (with the handset replacing a ball). Its great lol. Awesome stuff Nokia!
