Ffs HTC? Why lose the 32GB internal memory? 16GB is not enough.

I'm still sold as long as it comes in black. the 4 ultrapixel camera does better than my iphone 5 did. and 16 GB is fine as long as it has an microSD that will support 64GB chips.

              It's china only ?
I hope this feature will get passed to international version too.

Honestly I wont get my hope high for sdcard & removable battery in US version.. learning from past history

One is beautiful, yet One Max is ugly.

                    - micro SD - check

                    - removable battery - check

Try unlocked bootloader too, and we're in business (yeah! I know... unlockable - whatever). I hate when MY things are locked by others! When I buy a piece of hardware, I expect to be able to do whatever I want with it!

I assume HTC just found an Intelligent person to work with.
                      Now...
This is a foot step, may be we will see a good HTC One with regular options.
No SimCard and Non-Replaceable battery is not everyone's taste.
There are many people have broken their phones (unrecoverable internal memory issue) or needs battery replacement.

I really like HTC One but, camera battery and memory expansion problems keeps me away of that. (And a bit expensive too)

S4 processor and not a snapdragon 800. I'll pass. Htc is not keeping up with the industry leaders. They Make a phone that is worthy and then give it a substandard processor. Smart very smart. NOT! I'll wait til next year to see if a manufacturer listens to what consumers want. See you next year.

Anonymous, 04 Oct 2013HTC One Max as ugly as the old OneIndeed beauty is in the eye of the beholder. There is nothing ugly about this phone/phablet. There nothing out in the market more attractive for a phone period, atlleast most of the smartphone market thinks so. What phone do you own?

Now if Mugen or Zero Lemon can get a battery that is almost double the original mah, I'll definitely pick one of these up!

And Samsung "Apologized" for allowing/paying for smear campaigns against competitors. And although we each have a right to our opinions, look at the concerted efforts to affront HTC. Not nice. Not at all. We can differ, yet remain civil. I'm an LG G Pro fan. Yet I'd admit the HTC One and it's varients are Gorgeous. IMHO.
Of course it doesn't hurt that the Press fell in love with the design also. Too, it's logical. For me, I needed a larger display to avoid going for a smartphone AND a Tablet also. The Note is unweildly. Too W I D E!

y'know, if they made it a sealed back akin to the one, but added the micro sd slot at the side it would have been better. not much point in a removable back without a removable battery
