That's quite a nice phone indeed. If only Microsoft and nokia had previously joined hands and worked together on the surface...
I think it's a great phone with great specs.

One Note with the Wacom pen is great on my Samsung 500t. It would be great to jot down notes on my phone, too. If it has a Wacom digitizer it will be awesome. If not, it'll be just a big Windows Phone with all the usual frustrations. Memory expansion is a good thing, though. Hopefully, it'll handle a 64 gb card. I have the 900, 920 and the 1020.

Aadrian, 04 Oct 2013I don't understand it. This phone has leaked a million time... moreAadrian, I don't think the problem is with GSMARENA; There has been a lot of "leaks" and pictures but none had been credible, that's what is getting people to lose interest. The other day there was a publication on gsmarena about the FCC submission for the "1520", the measurements practically couldn't even fit a 5.7" screen! So i think Nokia is becoming more of a waste of time.

I have been skeptical of Windows Phone over the years. As a former iPhone user, I was afraid of vendor lock-in that happens with all of Apple's products, and I wanted something robust that was more than a toy. I switched to Android phones but I am getting tired of the fragmentation and slow interface. I am currently dealing with tons of spyware on my Android phone. The phone was top of the line with my carrier just eighteen months ago, but it no longer receives updates. Worse, it is littered with malware and spyware, a common occurrence in the Android world per the testimony of my acquaintances. Now it looks like GMail is spying on my email through what Google calls "targeted advertising." Enough!
Luckily I am due for an upgrade soon. I have been to a local phone store to try out all of the phones, and the ones that really impressed me were the Microsoft Lumia Windows Phones. Not only were they built with the highest quality materials, but the interface is phenominally clean and quick. There are live tiles which allow information to flow to my home screen without wasting space or causing clutter. Sure, the Microsoft Application Store is young and may not have 500,000 apps, but it's quality, not quantity that I'm worried about. I just need about a dozen or so well written programs to conduct my daily business. Windows Phone is the fastest growing smartphone percentage wise, so the app store will only get better. Plus, I look forward to being able to edit my documents on the fly with Microsoft Office on the way in to work. With a trusted name like Microsoft and Outlook.com, I also don't have to worry about being "Scroogled" and having my personal email targeted for advertisements.
I can't wait to join the growing number of smartphone users who are making the switch to Windows Phone. Windows Phone 8 is a great OS that provides excellent value for money. I would recommend this phone to everyone. If you value privacy and quality, Windows Phone is the way of the future!

I don't understand it. This phone has leaked a million times. Almost all specs have leaked on the net as well. Images, newsfeeds about the 1520... but why there is no Nokia Lumia 1520 in the 'rumor mill' section??? There are other phones in that section, which are only vagely leaked. I mean look at the Xperia Z1 mini. Boom, it's in the rumor mill section. But this phone has leaked a million times and we all know it will be announced on the 22nd, but still nothing. Gsmarena doesn't want to put this phone in their rumor list of rumored-but-to-be-announced-soon-phones? I bet soon the GS5 will be in that list, and will get already 5 million hits even before the phone is leaked, just like the S4.
I just wanna see some listed specs of all the leaks we've seen, so I can either compare it to other phones or just look at the specs and see what it offers.

Finally a white bacground pic so that some stupid folks not mistake it for 'thick bezel'.
This is the first Nokia that really makes me feel excited since the birth of WP. I personally consider Lumia 1520 as the end of WP 'beta phase'. Big screen (i love it and am very willing to sacrifice some pocketability while my phone is excessively replacing my computer), full hd, quadcore snapd 800, 2gb of ram, gdr3 and the upcoming updates over Q1 2014, make Lumia 1520 a new chapter. Add to it the second best phone camera, Nokia exclusive apps, and the usual Lumia goodies, this device is definitely so sweet.

They keep insulting people who try to hold on with these silly leaks while real phones are being highlighted like the Note 3, G2, Z1, etc. You can imagine an event coming up and they don't even have the decency of confirming details. I'm sure people will be disappointed even after the "event"
