Nexus 5 service manual leaks, confirms most key specs

It is very strange to me that almost everyone considers the Nexus 5 as "based on the LG G2" when:
- The battery is different (smaller)
- The screen is different (smaller)
- The camera is different (fewer megapixels)
- The button placement is different (indicating a different circuit board).
- There is no FM radio
- There is no infrared transmitter
- I can see no mention of 802.11ac WiFi according to the posted service manual.
Of course, it features the same processor, but I suppose many upcoming phones from other manufacturers will sport the same processor too.

And yeah i forget to mention that UPDATES direct from the vendor unlike other Samsung, LG, Sony etc.... you have to wait for 8 month to get the latest updates if it's not even the latest with some issues here and there.
Nexus it's an Google IPHONE period.

You are saying Google should use original ideas. Nexus is an english word. Anyone can use it.
If that is so, Apple is a fruit. Apple should use original ideas.

Nexus is not meant to be a "flagship" it's more like a developer phone. Stop crying about specs smartphones can't even use at it's fullness. Also, the Nexus phones are much cheaper than phones with similar specs or at same price as lower spec phones.

im watching blade runner film. google took the nexus name from this movie,,, nexus are robots just like android is another word for robot. why google not use original ideas?

I read so many comments on how the Nexus 5 hardware is outdated, lacking in X feature, etc.
Google is not in the business to compete hardware-wise with the giant OEMs. The Nexus 5 is only a platform from which Google can deliver its products so that its millions of users can get their fix.

That battery combined with the camera and the boring back is why I jumped in and bought a G2, I have no regrets coming from a nexus 4. The battery life is immense!!
