@Rooney @Bluto

Why you droid maniacs rant here about WP8 features comparing with Android? why not on iOS?
if you want a better feature OS then go to iOS?
ranting against WP8 is pointless...

Maybe you like WP8 and want the feedom of Android
thats not gonna happen with WP and iOS
Android is SHIT...
Neither Apple nor Microsoft are gonna allow shit on their OS.

        AnonD-83480, 15 Oct 2013Im very disappointed with MS and Nokia, where are the ideas... moredont expect android crapness in WP.
        WP is an elite platform it has standards to maintain.
        You wont die if you dont have folders in your WP. remember, iOS dont have folders too.
        just stop crying about everything that android has. android has a lot of shit, but there are better ways to do things...

          2015 is the year of Microsoft
          When Windows 9 is out it will be a life changing experience with fullness of everything we want.
          IMO, i was little crippled to use WP7.5
          with 7.8 it was better
          with 8.0 its a way lot better than ever. i could survive in that platform easily
          with 8.1/GDR3 its more cosmetics and features. its a real bonus
          WP9 will be a great great challenger for Android and iOS.
          Lumia 1020, Lumia 1520, Lumia 2520 {perfect choice to boast of for the next 12months}

                    Finally screen orientation locking is available in windows phone in late 2013. Now there next giant leap would be providing custom profiles and ringtone sound level. It may happen by next wp iteration which current generation wp devices won't be able to boot due to 'hardware limitations'. And by 2015 they will provide navigation buttons on explorer. By 2016 a file manager. By 2017 ussd update. By 2018 custom themes. By 2019 a call recorder to record imp conversation. Good going ms

                        Latin america is still waiting GDR2 and GDR3 already in the works, stupid slowness update! I don't know why factory unlocked region variants should wait that much?!! Kinda stupid, who to blame MS or Nokia?! They should release it for all unlocked variants, but my guess Nokia didn't think of that. My lumia is aging and waiting for that stupid GDR2. Great devices poor company support, boooh Nokia.

Installing apps does not make a any is run slow, but running a bunch of apps will on any platform. Its More apparent on Android because it's multitasking is not crippled like on IOS or WP. If you aren't smart enough to turn off app and app services not in use when you notice the phone running slower then you shouldn't use Android.

The thing is that its a little hard for some of us to forget windows. And the delays in rolling out 7inch windows tablets with telephony functions is a big failure.

                                lmagine that even the Main windows 8 metro email app doesnt support pop 3 or imap emails. Just imagine how useless and insulting that is to any serious user. for me, Android is king!!

                                  Im very disappointed with MS and Nokia, where are the ideas that we users suggested to microsoft? Where is the notification center swipping from left to right with wifi etc, and messages? Where is the full customization of the OS colours, images, sounds etc..., Simple things like smart dialing are still missing, i don´t understand this, there was a French GUY that made awesome concept ideas for the OS none were taken by MS, android as the concepts why the hell doesn´t MS adapts them to WP, until this happens it will remain as the third option because MS takes too long to update and innovate the OS...!

                                    Was hoping for folders and more than one home screen, I'm learning to enjoy WP8 but endless vertical scrolling for things is becoming old very fast. Time for a decent video editor too!!
