I don't think 4 inch is that much cool as many iphone lovers makes it out to be. They justify it only because they have no other options lol. I'm using a 4.3 size phone and frankly, its only good as and until i look onto bigger phones. 4.7 size is awesome and Moto has proved it could be pretty comfortable also. 4 is just too short.. i mean 1 cm less and you are straight into 3 inch bracket lol. Sounds uncool. Actually, it is uncool.

Ixil, 19 Oct 2013Well, the reason for them to be SMARTPHONES is that you can... moresmartphones are a compromise between bad cameras, bad gaming devices, bad computers, bad batteries,... but good for phone sellers because people like toys and are easily frustrated by marketing commercials. l used Nokia N9 which was a great phone, but fonts were too small - l bought older iphone models because they are cheaper, but still very good for my needs and without simple and stupid mistakes other brands have.

don't understand me wrong but in this "complex" world simple things are the most valuable (and durable)

Note: if u can't see on your iPhone, u have the chance to zoom in any size u want to read.Smaller screen size is the best and ok for the palm. I can see clearly from my iPhone 5 with 4" display. Any thing bigger than 4 inches display is a phablet not an ideal phone.

If you don't want to do it, buy a Nokia 101, as it allows a lot of communication... Of course, most people buy smartphones for status, mainly (but not only) people who buy iPhones... And I say this not as a hater, but as someone who works in this business and sells phones...

Well, the reason for the iPhone being small is that the iPhone is a phone (that also can act as a general purpose computer). The other devices are general purpose computers (that also can act as a phone). Besides, the space for a bigger display on the iPhone is already occupied - by the Home button.

On a iPhone you can't send one only email with multiple and seperate Word, Excel, PFD, jpeg, GPS link, mP3, vCard etc etc attachments. It all has to be done on seperate individual emails.

                                That's not a smartphone...that' a DUMBPHONE!

But, but, but...iPhone has a shiny logo and it does not frighten me say the fanbois!

When we're out sitting, my wife complains about her iPhone 5's small screen and look at me reading e-mail from my Note II. I'll ask her why she did not bring her iPad. She'll reply, "it's heavy to carry."

duden, 17 Oct 2013Hm, at 12" distance most people with good vision canno... moreI don't have rare vision... I just look at the pictures and scrutinize them. If you just glance at a pic for only a few seconds, you won't really see the difference. In my case, I was actually trying to see the difference 441 ppi makes over 326 ppi. That is, I was looking at the pics with detail in mind. Once you know what to look for, it becomes obvious thereafter.

Also, all that crap about Retina Display and 326ppi being the amount at which nobody can resolve individual pixels...that's just marketing. If I look and know what I'm looking for, I can still see individual pixels.
