Andriod phones are not compareable to Apple Iphone in terms of quality of hardware and overall appearance. In short Apple Iphone is the best.

The only reason ppl are buying iphones is because of the brand. Apple are selling brands for i-people who only concious about brand and fashion. Apple's great os are limited by their ram,screen size and battery,which i find is useless by now.smooth games,browsing,tons of apps what are these for without ample ram,screen quality n size n battery! I wad apple fans before before i realised how fool was being i-people.

Maybe I will get smaller display next time. Not iPhone size but something medium. I guess the perfect phone would have Sharps 4.5" Full HD display.

I was like you once, I thought Apple was superior, I thought Android were cheap laggy phones and held very little value. That was all until I made the HTC One switch. Go and look at the price of a HTC One now, see how well they are doing 7 months on.
Apple are very clever. They have a simple, solid UI and make great phones based on simplicity. However, they restrict the user on what they want, it's a case of Apple tell you "guys and girls, here is another fantastic thing we have introduced for the phone, you can't change it but you can still admire it and call it a revamp". iOS was introduced and I have seen a number of people and reviews saying how great it looks, wow Apple are amazing. All I can say is Really? I mean yeah they have made it look colourful, flat icons, the animations when closing and opening apps look ok, there is a new shortcut notification the you can swipe from the bottom. But this is all completely basic when comparing to an Android phone. Say you did not like the iOS 7 look, how can you change the icons and look? You can't. Your stuck with it. That is because Apple are saying this is how WE want you to have your device.
I also saw another review how "wonderful" the live wallpaper looks. I had to laugh when I experienced it myself. If that is Apple's version of "wonderful" live wallpaper, then it's like stepping back 3 years for an Android phone.
Seriously, I still like iPhones. But there is nothing to justify them being superior to high end Androids. They are just competition. The people who buy iPhones are people who feel secure staying in the Apple Eco System and are not willing to change due to the hassle and worry of switching to an Android device, which will be unfamiliar territory for them. Plus it's cool to have an iPhone - that is something I have personally heard from people. Something which makes me laugh.

I can't answer for the Galaxy S4 as I don't buy Samsung phones, but when it comes to the HTC One, we are talking about one incredible device. Every phone has some issues if that is your argument. I mean a blue screen of death and Home Button response issues are 2 that are being mentioned about the iPhone 5S. That doesn't mean every iphone is experiencing issues.
