funny, 21 Oct 2013funny reading all these coments because its obvious you guy... moreFunny,

Totally agree with you. HTCOne phone is the best they made yet. I own one and I never being happier about it. I honestly can point weak point which is camera day light performance. Appart from it this shines. I have 32 GB version and never had shortage of memory. HTC is very good at optimising they software. Phone is fast and no lag whatsoever. Dual speakers work charm. You need to own this phone to appreciate it. Period.

HTC dont need to make high end tech innovation.
they only need to put SDcard slot, removable battery/bigger battery and better camera.
3 simple tech that already exist.
    their CEO think too much

funny reading all these coments because its obvious you guys have never actully used the phone for a long period. you just look at the spec sheet and guess. htc one comes 32gb what more do you need? plus you have 25gb drop box in uk plus its durible. only thing that really lets htc down is its marketing... which is terrible like absolutly shite!! but the last 2 flagships have been great. s4 and the sonys are brilliant phones aswell but they dont blow the htc out the water i have more and more peaple telling me they wish they had htc over samsung.

It's about time. I saw this coming 3 months ago. And I am always mostly right. I was a big HTC fan until they released HTC One X/ One. I am power Android user, and I need an SD card slot, a good camera, and an overall great phone. The HTC One is overrated by critics, but it is still the most beautiful Android handset on the planet- I did not buy it because the competitors' phones are cheaper with more useful features.

                want to sell phones again?

build a mobile with a snapdragon 800 and adreno 330 GPU. put at least a 3500 mah battery inside and a micro sd slot. battery has to be removable and each mobile should come at least with 2 of them out of the box. a stand alone charger for the extra battery sould be available and not to expensive. dump 8gb phones. nobody wants a flagship with 8gb. trust me! 32gb is a must. create a competitve edge and do something that nodbody offers. 128 gb phone would be perfect!

offer this phone in 3 sizes
                4.3 - 4.5 inches (not mor than 130g)
                5 - 5.2 inches (not more than 150g)
5.5 - 6 inches (ad stylus) (not more than 180g)

now lean back, pay me 300.000 USD/month and sell phones!

Poor decisions after another caused htc to fall. Dont know why they rushed the release of one x when they could wait and solve all the problems of the one x first. Were they rushing because they're afraid s3 would steal all their customers? Continous release of phones follwed this mistake. The desire line is awful-poor chipsets, limited specs and high price. Then next yr they released AGAIN another flagship-htc one without external card support. Doing this would loose a lot of potential buyers, i for one wouldnt buy a phone without micosd support. Butterfly s was another mistake and the more, one max using old chipset. The hell, how would it even compete with note 3 with so many useful features. I am an htc fanboy but i am not close-minded like others who argue and neglect the important things which htc missed. Htc phones are durable and nice looking but thats it. Now im wondering what phonewill i upgrade to next yr to think that htc is missing out on all the things i look for in a phone.

                          A consumer needs

                          1. Big batter possibly 4000+ mah battery(Definitely removable ) .
                          2. Microsd support.

Is that so difficult to understand for these people ? Daily thousands of blogs are shouting just for these two things . But cries fall into deaf ears . dont know who started this stupid idea of non removable battery and ofcourse more stupid is removing microsd support .

Until they are going to rectify that . They are gonna fail . Thats where samsung is so smart . They never ever Ever do that . Neither they put non removable battery and neither they remove support for microsd.

And on top of that when their sales go up the other companies cry that samsung is cheating . Its not likely they are forcing customers to buy only samsung . I Personally really liked G2 , Htc one , Xperia z , Z1 . But all of them turned me off completely because of those two facts . Now i m going to opt for S4 . Which was supposed to be my last choice became my first . I really wished these companies to succeed but until and unless they exceed and hear consumer's requests . ITs unlikely they would

HTC's main weakness is trying to be too perfect. They're trying to be in front of everyone in everything. Example : They created HTC One, gorgeous metal clad smartphone with great specs. In a glance everything seems right but not with the camera. They want to be known as the "Innovator" but fails miserably. Low - Mid end is the other weakness. No HTC phone can compete with the likes of Samsung Galaxy fame, or LG L5 II (low end), Sony Xperia SP or Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini in the mid. HTC One mini is overpriced and not even arrive in my country.

HTC's main problem is not the current marketing strategy, in terms of placement and relations to suppliers' and clients' networks. It's the products, which are lacking in specs or simply in the previously traditional "wow" factor. For example, HTC should use the most high-end chipset in their devices. The difference in productivity and daily performance between S800 and S600 may not be that substantial but nevertheless HTC should be able to offer the best possible experience to the customers, in order to retain its position on the top of the food-chain. The 4 mega-, or ultra-pixel camera, or whatever it is, is another example of an unusual and not well founded decision which has pushed potential customers away. Another thing, the company's main hope for success, the HTC One, may be a beautiful device, but it is borderline impossible for a repair or maintenance. HTC always try to be innovative and creative but they have lost some of their focus on people's expectations which are mainly formed by the market as a whole and hence, by the company's big rivals, like Samsung, LG, Sony... Limited memory and missing battery replacement option aren't helping as well.

I hope that Chou's efforts would suffice to help HTC out of the current misery but they really should revise their whole strategy in order to be successful again. HTC HD2 is legendary, HTC Desire and Nexus One were top-notch for the time being but since then the company has failed to fully capture people's attention by its products. Good luck HTC, you have already proven you can do it, now just DO IT! ;)

The real problem was, they are Android traitor that bowed to "Apple conditions" in their last lawsuit with Apple.
