Dont get confused here, none of these phones will have 3 columns. Gelvin has already stated the reason. The reason 1520 is getting 3 columns is because, its a full HD scree aka 1080p. Other than this, no other wp8 is a full HD . So those phones will not show 3 columns. If you still dont understand, hmmm...cant help.

This affordable and colourful Lumia 520 is the new hot gadget to own. In my office people stare at my Lumia 520 and dig those colourful live tiles. I got all 5 colored back cases for my lumia 520 so as to change them according to my mood and chicks dig that red one.How cool is that? It has Asphalt7 which runs super silky smooth. Got my microsoft office and outlook in the palm of my hand which is just too good to be true. Developers ignoring WP8 are smoking weed as they need to wake up soon so as to make some serious cash on WP8.

BTW! Apple's support mostly comes from United States of America where Apple is the leader. Loyal customers made Apple strong in ever aspect.

Apple are trendsetters and successful in every field they ventured in whether its digital music player, desktop, tablet or smartphone. Outside the desktop OS, Microsoft failed miserably in all of their software and hardware endeavours. And their Nokia acquisition will hardly change that.

Correction: Column of tiles because of lower.
The reason 720P WP8 devices can't support the third column of tiles is because of the below 400PPI.

so let me see his phone is obsolete cause it won't show another row of tiles because of hardware restrictions (not 1080p) but would have every other part of update? I guess many phones are obsolete after created then

Nokia is the only mobile giant which dnt jumped to android and managing its place. Great news nokia. Expecting more lumia phones.
Peoples are surely buying windows phones only for Nokia. Nokia is always better.
