A nice looking phone indeed. But don't think it is excellent.
I wonder what happen to the "Modu Jacket" thingy.
Is it still alive?

theonick, 17 Dec 2008what you need to do is to get your grammar correct!@theonick
Who the he11 made you the grammar police? Do you really have nothing better to do with your time than trawl forums picking up on people's bad grammar? Get a life mate, and accept the fact that there are people who use these forums who either speak English as a second language, or are just not blessed with grammatical genius like yourself. Bet they get laid a lot more than you do though.

Very pretty phone, indeed. Hopefully an Omnia-Killer. I wish it the very BEST. Have been using an ASUS-G1S notebook for the last 6 months alongwith my usual ACER TravelMate. Found both of them equally top-notch -- both in temrs of build quality and performance. Never used any other ASUS product though. But my humble personal experience says that a manufacturer that delivers a product right according to the "hypothetical promises" made in advertisements and/or marketing campaigns IS INDEED a GOOD provider.
Over and above of all, web-presence. Manufacturers who take their web-presence simply for granted, should NEVER be trusted et al. Led by greed, breach of trust becomes their attribute quite naturally. Period. Example? The bigshot Korean giant that always fails to keep upto its very own marketing hypes. What a waste!

Anonymous, 16 Dec 2008So bad,it has a 2.5 mm headphone connection!I do not get the strange obsession with 3.5 jack. Why do not you ask for 9-Pin serial port (or may be even 25 pin) then?
It is already time for everyone to start using 2.5 or even develop a smaller jack for headphones and not only for portable devices. Universal one. Such space saving thing!

Damn, that is one ugly looking phone. And the plastic looks cheap to me too. But I guess that should be a given considering Asus is making it and all their phones look pretty ugly. I think Garmin should stick with making GPS devices and ASUS with motherboards and computer stuff...
