Olusegz, 31 Oct 2013There's something I've just discovered about phone batterie... moreSince 2003 I charge my phone for 12-16 hrs initially.I then fully discharge/fully recharge 6-10 times and do what I want with battery after that..I know the 16 hr charge is for the old Ni-Cads but its what I do.My Nokia 6630 is my second alarm back up to get me out of bed I hate work and its had 2 batterys in 8-9 years using this method,,the 6630 wasmy main phone for a good while also back in 2004.

Anyone can charge the battery however you so wish but that's my way give it a good long initial charge then flatten charge at least 6 times.

Much better than iphone 4 u mean no?? . cuz The iphone 5S its way better than this overall, since this have a dated 32bits cpu and gpu, crap plastic laggy phone, the same for the ridiculous big peace of shit plastic of the note 3. LG=Samsung=CRAPPPP. Apple have only high end premium devices and OS, overall. Period

The nexus 5 is NOT pentaband. It is missing the 1700 MHz band.

Erick, 31 Oct 2013For some inexplicable reason LG has continued to understock... moreThe reason is common sense: why flood the market with cheap nexus 5s when you have your own flagship you want to sell (G2).

                            Dear Gsmarena,

Thank you for keeping us updated. I'm waiting for this phone, but battery is a bit concern. Since the Nexus 4's battery sucks.

Please do a full review of this device, most importantly the battery.

                            Thank you so much.

AnonD-173154, 31 Oct 2013Gah. Worst thing about my N4 is the useless battery life. S... moreThere's something I've just discovered about phone batteries, which is something I've always scoffed at.How long yopu charge the battery the first time determines how well the battery performs throughout its lifetime.I have a Nexus 4 which is just over 2 months old,and so far,the battery has been the best of all the phones I've used with similar functions performed on them.I get at least 30hours from the battery.I still have a Samsung Captivate Glide which is just 5 months old which I use alongside the Nexus, and I can tell you that the Nexus lasts almost twice as long as the Captivate Glide.I decided to charge the Nexus for 6 hours the first time I charged the battery, and I believe the superb battery performance I'm getting is directly related to the extra long charge I gave the battery the first time.Try it the next time you get a phone and compare your phone's battery life with that of friends who have similar phones. You'll be surprised how much of a difference it makes to charge the battery longer the first time.
