shiv179, 23 Dec 2008well if apple woke up and bothered to up the specs and add ... moreI am sure that they will do that soon. Sadly the rules of business are like that that the companies never give out the maximum they could. They do it in steps so they can make more money on it. This is happening in every industry, especially in the CPU manufacturing. We could all have the technologies today what we will have in 5 years. But than again, businesses need to provide work continuously to their stuff so it is a safer way like this, and more profitable of course.
So I am sure that the next iPhone will have everything what we are missing today. Question is, that how will Nokia respond to this. Right now they are nowhere. All they have is the announcement of the N97, which means nothing. Any company can announce anything. Even if they keep their promises and release the N97 in six months, all other manufacturers’ will have already released much better phones. And probably the new iPhone will be on his way to.

No Iphone is the best for entertainment and internet access. But for others forget it.

The Lord, 23 Dec 2008No matter what you say the iPhone IS THE REFFERENCE device ... morewell if apple woke up and bothered to up the specs and add the missing features, then yes it wud b a truly marvel device.
but until then, its just the eye candy and apple's snobbishness that sells the device.

sooky, I highly doubt Apple included a 1700/2100mhz 3G antenna for T-Mobile customers (since these phones were designed for AT&T), meaning you will not be able to get 3G at all on T-Mobile even after the unlock. It's not the end of the world, and it does bring at least an edge-speed internet connection to those not on AT&T, but yeah... Sort of pointless to buy an iPhone 3G if you're on T-Mobile.

No matter what you say the iPhone IS THE REFFERENCE device today. All other phones are compared to it. Sure it has it weaknesses, but the advantages are so huge that no other prone can come not even near to it! I had an N95 before the iPhone and I must say that the iPhone blow me away with its superior UI! No other phone can be compare to that. I don’t know about you, but when I am using a phone I don’t care about the high tech specs when all the functions are so slow that you want to throw your device out of the window because you just don’t have the nerves for it anymore. Nokia and almost all other devices are extremely slow. iPhone is the only device which is finally build that way that the user can enjoy using it.
Because of this, you should all be grateful to iPhone, because now Nokia and other manufacturers will have to produce better phones if they don’t want to loose their market share. People have seen that a phone can be build that it works flawlessly and not lagging on every button pressed. iPhone IS a milestone in mobile phone manufacturing. And no matter what you say, we all know this is true

well,if u guys are talking about jailbraking the phoe [refering to comments] i already did mine..now i have the ability to copy/paste, record videos, zoom in and add effects, and other stuff to my camera, send and receive mms [it took a while for me to get the settings from my provider, but after a few changes,it worked]
now the unlock thing used to work [and might still work] with that little chip u put on ur sim card, and put it in the phone, and then u can use any carrier u want with no problems..
but if that one is actually unlocking the phone, and next time i upgrate the firmware,i won`t have to do it again, ill be awesome!

yash, 22 Dec 2008i phone is the best phone ever with those superior features... moreIphone superior??...lol..haha...what features?...the fast connection to the media and thousands of applications that can easily be downloaded through apple. that is all the iphone has to offer for now. The iphone is not all that when you really think about it. Nowadays, an all-around smartphone (camera, media, and phone) is more preferable for the convenience of carrying one device, which leads to the n-series, experia1, nokia tube, innov8, pixon, lg renoir, etc etc.

I dont really use my iphone that much. I use my n95 more.

The price of the iphone is not worth it. Just add couple of hundred dollars more and you can get a better all around smartphone: the n97, experia1, nokia tube, n96, innov8....etc...etc.
