AMOLED screen has over-saturated colors and may be unpleasant to others like me, that's why i prefer LCD as it has lower saturation in terms of color which is not hurtful on the eyes, just my opinion thou...
hope nov 26 is the real announcement date, interested in z1s as my second phone, currently using ZU.

i have read so many reviews about display including gsmrena ,they said that iphone or htc or samsung display are better then sony,i have sony xperia v and i compare it with iphone5 and s4,beleave me sony is well ahead to all other compnies ,plz do not trust these sights and check ur self

I do concede that being incredible expensive to make and having some durability concerns are probably why we never saw such a screen in a smartphone.

This is actually the phone that is long awaited. Everybody was looking for a mid sized but high end phone. Sony has done it. Thanks sony, for miniaturizing the shape but keeping the outstanding performance.

I can't imagine why would Sony waste space on the screen by putting the home, app manager and back buttons there. A huge amount of space is available under the screen why not use it? A 4.3 inch screen turns into a 3.8 at max with that taskbar.

You probably can't do much smaller without sacrificing endurance in case of a fall.

In fact it must be a worlds first to claim superiority to TFT, it never had it, not even when it was a new technology going against just CRT.
I can tell you what is its biggest advantage: it's CHEAP. Let me correct that to the current day, it's DIRT CHEAP.

That's just a freaking buzzword, their displays are still horrible, including the display of the Z1. it has horrible battery life because of the poor display as well. just compare LG G2 with Xperia Z1. both are non AMOLED panels though the G2 is miles ahead in terms of colors and power efficiency.
