I couldn't care less for Kitkat through official channels (easily available through Custom ROMs), but dayumn! That red looks so stunning! Sony should make that colour an official part of the next flagship.

The 4.4.2 is suspiciously fake. The second digit 4 looks smaller on the edges as compared to the first digit 4. And the look and feel of the about phone is so 4.2.2, and why wouldn't he show the UI instead? He's just showing the red back cover and the front of the Z1. FAKE!

Anyway, doesn't matter, Z1 doesn't need new color, it need a new frame to shrink it to a realistic size. The size is so turn-off, especially the bottom bezel is plain ugly at that size, why couldn't it have been just thicker and then keep the size of the Xperia Z? Why Sony did you destroy such a potent phone by making it monstrous size?

Root your phone, adjust the number version in system>build.prop, set right permission, reboot. You can change to whatever version u want, just to fool others. :p
