I really wonder how many reviews are contrived. This is a brilliant phone. Just remember that if it's running two sims its like running two phones from one battery! Turn off the second SIM when you don't need it! Fabulous device!

This phone has beem out in China since the first HTC one arrived hete, they should have sold this phone from the beginning mainly coz of that micro sd slot, but its pretty late in the market and since the m8 is just around the corner seems like HTC is just tying to shift unsold stock of these phones to our market trying to generate as much as they can until they have to subside cost and make way for their new some what flagship phone. I don't see the point in buying this but they should offer similar functionalities in their new device , only seems fair for customers since their offering these abilities now.

In Dual sim phones, the second sim is primarily voice oriented, with 2G connectivity. HTC One is no different.

I have not seen a Dual Sim phone with 3G / LTE on both Sims.

The One is a great device all around, but there are couple improvements still need to be made.
1)Power button need to be more natural location to reach.
2)The battery can last so long before need to replace and replace on this thing require so much effort.

Have been using this phone for over 3-4 months now (India), Is very helpful for people who use a different phone/contact for work, The best and the most amazing feature both sims work simultaneously no other dual sim has that feature(as fas as I know)... it means u can practically call your self... so if your on a call on sim1 and someone calls you on sim2 you get a call wait popup and the person calling on sim2 "does not" get a callwait/busy... I repeat the person calling on sim2 does not get a "call wait"... cheers!!!

It's connecting to two networks at once and the varying signal strengths also contribute to the battery power's depletion. I suggest you keep a power bank handy if you're going to use a phone such as this.

                          mostly, 2 sim card = 2 provider = 2 coverage area.
so, we can always make phone call/internet connection and to be connected at the entire country.

                          just one of the purpose.

When some tech media, will give us the NEW dimensions and weight of this brick? All media are dumb, about it.
And when will they check out how "durable" is this removable aluminum tin-can disaster?

Is it strange(or not?), that no one tech media inform you that this will add even more thickness and weight , on already huge(compare the screen size), and heavy tin-can brick.
And that the aluminum removable back is complete disaster.(just sit on it)

It looks like, all the tech media is controlled from one center. Right?
