Let's ve frank to ourselves guys. Those who follow premium and neglecting user experience are just dumping their monies in the name of aesthetic value. My advice to Apple is, they should release money to their Manufacturing companies (ie. samsung) for better hardware architectures, they should also release more monies to the programmers for more freeware apps. With that perhaps they will regain their name against Samsung.
Otherwise, Samsung, LG, Sony, HTC has taken the lead.... Same I products.

Implying that Nokia shells are thicker thats why they look premium compared to Samsung's is pure fanboyism. Scratch from hard materials like keys etc is something else and durability of built is another. Glossy plastic on Samsung and previous range of LG's are totally prone to scratches even under normal everyday conditions. Lg is taking a right step with the G2,Nexus, and their new line of tablets.

Samsung's build quality is fine and I have seen all phones of any sort get scratched...all.
And LG's takes a small advantage by having a non removable battery.

There are different qualities of polycarbonate.You cant possibly compare Nokia's material with Samsung's. Nokia has always had great hardware on their flagsjips. Yes LG uses similar built to Samsung but the exterior is much more rigid and i would say a tad more durable too. I think Samsung puts all those great internals and tries to cut costs on the shell of the phone. I dont know, it is so prone to scratches since day 1. Id rather not have air gestures and smartscroll in exchange for a better build quality,more solid feel in the hand and durability.

jeff , 05 Dec 2013Hey Sammy hi there me again.The gr8 fan of note series hand... moreThat's all your opinion and ok...But I love how everyone can trash Samsung for their looks or plastic and then praise another company like Nokia for using the same plastic and same gloss finish...Or LG who's Lates G lines take strikingly similar looks and UI and use same material...It's illogical. And the Roundness works for the ergonomics of the the design. Very thin, light, rounded device sits very well in one hand almost better than most devices in the same size category.
However everyone has different tastes in looks.
