Don't just blame Elop. Blame Nokia as well. Because if it's not for Nokia's incompetence this would have never happened. Nokia is the best smartphone manufacturer run by the most stupid management in the world.

      A total disgrace!

An obvious case of corporate fraud with an 18 million dollar payoff for Elop at the end, and nobody does anything about it. Back-handers all around, eh boys?

I went into my phone shop yesterday and saw only one Nokia Windows phone amongst all the Android phones from different manufacturers displayed there. A few years ago Nokia dominated every phone shop's window.

Moral of the story: never hire an ex-Microsoft director as your CEO unless you want to be asset-stripped and your key assets given to Microsoft for a pittance!

Getting Nokia with Stephen Elop as a side effect. I think its bad trade for Microsoft.

Meego, symbian, Nokia, I will miss all of them.

I know this might Sounds insane but it's true. Nokia so the future of android and saw no hope for mergo, so they had to do something like invent a OS capable of beating android. and windows was the only hope. yu wil see in the future to come that Nokia did a good move buy taking this deal. android might die in the future

                  Congratulation Mr. Flop,

You destroyed the biggest legendary phone nation.

Blame the dump Finnish. You simply allowed to a spy to smash your glory.
                  SHAME ON YOU.

                  I'm so sad.

Yes you are right- It was all a strategy by Microsoft to acquire nokia so that they can compete with apple and damn-sung phones. Everybody knew that Nokia was the only company having potential of beating apple and army of androids-

This was already planned by Stephen Elop since he was Nokia's CEO. I mean, killing Meego, then releasing sh*ty Windows 7 phones (not at the same level than Android to be real competitors), causing Nokia's lowest sales ever and its bankruptcy, and finally "saving" Nokia by buying it ¬¬ I hate Eloph so bad. Poor Nokia, RIP.
