Bye Nokia Mobiles, 16 Dec 2013@hrogerpjr, Microsoft? Evil? Please, that was 20 years ago.... moreYeah, because Google and fb are best friends...

@hrogerpjr, Microsoft? Evil? Please, that was 20 years ago. It's Google that's evil now! When Microsoft were sued everywhere, Google prospered and even knocked Nokia off the King of Mobiles throne by buying and redeveloping Android along with joining forces with Samsung.

I knew Google would be the same as Microsoft was and I didn't cheer for Google the moment they won over Nokia, why? Where's at least the natively-coded YouTube for Windows Phone? Google don't dare to approve it despite Microsoft negotiated with them to do so.

Instagram for WP? Why now? Why not earlier? The "WP have no apps and games" reason is a load of bull. I can bet Google told Facebook not to let Instagram make a app for WP and only this year they fought back against Google.

Google should be sued everywhere more starting from the YouTube for WP scuffle then they'll know how Microsoft suffered back then while they were profiting back in 2007 when Microsoft had started giving up on Windows Mobile due to low hardware sales and the settled lawsuits.

my samsung omnia W running windows 7.5 was great.

but i'm really disappointed with the lumia 620.
gets stuck at times, battery lasts for 2 days only...

still uncomparably faster and longer battery than androids for that price range.. :P

For a 1520 released weeks back, you can hardly see 3 actual user reviews on the 1520 page itself!

Microsoft, first give file manager & ability to install apps & games on SD card. These two main features are necessary to increase the market share & lack of this is the only reason for most of the users won't try your OS.

I'm puzzled so many postings Microsoft subjects get. Do people really miss the Windows monopoly? I like choice and hope it stays that way.

Don't they already do that? I know the phones themselves are awful, but I'm fairly sure they still count.

They can see samsung paying so many lawsuits ... that money may come like an helping hand.
I ave use both OS and both in early stages were not great so be pacient and allow both to be great at there own time which android as already achieved -WP8 is on the way up...

AnonD-1577, 16 Dec 2013App revenue in Android is low comparing to iOS, in Android ... moreYou better back your claim with actual data.
Last time I've checked iTunes had a larger revenue *per user*, but do not forget Android has a lot more users.

All those numbers were ever meant to prove is that (at the end of the day) you just sell more apps in Android because it just has that much devices (it dominates the market), but the iOS device number disadvantage is quickly recovered by the higher sales per device.

Purchase patterns are also different amongst these two kinds of buyers.
The gross revenue on the other hand really isn't that different, because sheer numbers do have an advantage of it's own.

This is the one best strategy of Microsoft.... just like windows os in all Laptop manufactures .... though WD mobile os fantastic main hurdle for reaching customers is it just like for high profile users so if it comes with many then people acquaint with it

That really shows you the success of WP, it's so unappealing they have to resort to "bribing" manufacturers just to keep it alive.
