What is the big Fusss? No Charger so what it costs £2.99 on ebay.
Saving planet or world thingy is just a scam like any other charity scam......... The money will go to Nokia no one else but nokia and 1 % of which will go to WWF boss/director.
If you know where to buy a charger then stop this arguments. Dont go to Tesco or Carphonwarehouse or phones4u for a chager cuz they charge you £15 to £30 for the same charger. either ebay it or local shop. much much easier than u think. The new style nokia chargers are even cheaper than old style cuz they break easily. now u know what is nokia upto..... right??????

Free solutions like PDF or even a cheaper HTML are very common things, I mean, people who buy this kind of phone at least have access to a computer somehow.

I am a nokia fan, but c'mom! They are pulling our legs or what? Extra money donated to WWF?? Donations are ok, but you tell me, isn't it more of an ecofriendly solution to encourage people to download all manuals from nokia's web sites? That may save bunches of paper wastes...who among the target consumer group of such device doesn't have access to a pc anyways? And what about using recicled plastics? Some nokia's cheapo looking front fascias and keypads are worthless...and what about encouraging user to download PC SUIT from its website instead of incluiding a cd in each single pack? Where is the sense in pissing off people who buy something incomplete for the same money? I dont know you but for me a spare charger doesn't hurt...and if I am a previous Nokia user, as their insinuate, even the manual and those fancy booklets they include in most sales packages are pointles since I am familiar with symbian...so lets think about it....

chargers don cost a million dollors, if you can afford the N79 than you can certainly buy a charger
and BTW you !diots this is a special "Saving the World" N79 edition Nokia are so true to their fans that if you already own a Nokia charger than you can buy this version where yea Nokia get more money but they give it to WWF..
This is smart cause you only pay alittle more but together everyone Raies alot of money thats given to WWF
Now this is a feature only Nokia has, all you people are proving how dumb you are.

So what if Nokia makes a little more money, at least there givng it a go which is more than I can say for most companies. and as for people without a nokia charger common sense would tell you to go for a different model wouln't it.

yea i felt exactly the same with samsung being the same game in a different court so it kinda felt the same and yea motos are actually pretty sweet theres a Razr V8 laying around in my house and it may not have tons off features but its got great build quality feels good in hands, i was attracted to the Diamond that looked like a great phone and WinMo ain't too bad but its no match for the iphone.. too bad we can't get the dream phone something that has specs like the Touch HD and interface like the iphone, be one hell of phone.... hahah but the WebOS looks amazing, espically the multitasking tasking part.. like wow man its looks slick

I agree with u guys, does nokia know that not every1 has a charger? And why didn't they deduct the charger price off the phone. A strategy for them to make more while the one who buys the phone gets less. HUD luck nokia

If the almighty brand is eco-concious, then why do they make different itterations of teh same model?
The true eco phone now must be the Motorola W233 Renew which used recycled plastic and 100% Recycleable. It may have lackluster features, but hey, it is eco-friendly.
