samsung should take lesson from apple who has been seeding the latest update from iphone 4 to all the way till the top, they need to realise that by seeding the latest update for a previous flagship, the sales don't go down, the reputation increases, like many people reluctant to leave iphone coz android manufacturers dont seed updates properly, and who is to blame them. current buyers are avoiding future flagships of android coz they know that after a year,it's going to be left in the dark, while apple has been giving full support to devices more than 3 years old, i dont get the service part of android, we dont want support for all models as they are plenty, atleast the flagships will do. if u ask me, galaxy s2 should also be getting kitkat update.

Simple...Samsung does not want to update the phones because it will cannibalize newer models like S4. Third world countries where S3 are still being sold like hot cakes might experience a demand fall if they release as customers will move on to better configurations than S3 for similar price.

I am really tired of these announcements.. Samsung doesn't send its updates to India on time.. Galaxy S3 is my first android device .. prior to this I used my iPhone 4 and loved it.. i dont really regret buying S3 but really want it to work better and faster without lagging with the new updates.!!!
