Can you imagine someone who owns a Ferrari playing HD games on a phone? I know a few people who have money. Some literally use their phones for calls and nothing else, but it has to be expensive. Some use apps and maps but get a cheaper phone with good value.

Couple of comments:
- Luxury brands do not make money from selling to the rich but to the poor wannabes. Check your facts. You can watch "secrets of the sipper brands" from the BBC for example.
- What is the definition of luxury? What makes a product luxury? Or just someone comes out, makes a product in more or less limited amount, prices it exorbitantly and says "My product is luxury" Food for thought.

I seriously doubt that you make even one third of the money I make. And even though I earn very well I wouldn't be so arrogant as to say that a person is only as good as the amount of money he makes. Some of the greatest artists and greatest minds in history didn't make a dime when alive but they contributed well above the average rich person and they are still in bronze on our squares and in Wikipedia whereas the millions of touch people from the past have long been forgotten. And one more question: since when does money mean class?

Nice material, but the design is not up to the price point.
That logo on the bezel is particularly crass and it may be fine on an $18 case, but not on an $1800 phone.

and classy people like it big, luxury cars have powerful engines, luxury boats are actually floating houses, luxury hotels like the Burj Al Arab has 780 m2 (8,400 sq ft) suites, those people will surely want more than a cheap 36GB storage.

These luxury phones never seem to have very good specs, oddly, other than build quality. Weird, I'd rather brag that my phone got a 900, 000 score on Antutu or something than that it was made of titanium.
