well its a nice phone for those pple who like music but dont like test messaging with a numeric keypad...

the full QWERTY keyboard is for text messaging, if this option is available it doesnt mean that the phone is for business...

in the contrary this is an X-tra option for the music lovers... gr8 thinking from Nokia...

PS: b4 you write or comment know the product that is being shown and try to know what target the company wants to hit with that product b4 judging...

              Greetings earthlings,

For all you brain surgeons out there and tech wannabees (who probably don't even know what a transistor is if it bit you in the @ss) that only judge a phone by how many Mpixels the camara has (sigh)... I bet that when you're texting your other highly inlighted GSM expert friends, a full QWERTY keyboard comes in handy, right?

Just a thought here: GSM Arena should create a topic where every user could "build" their perfect phone and afterwards all of the other users could vote for the "perfect" phone with the best features. I'll bet that the only features people would consider are 16 M colour screens and 12 Mpixel camaras, instead of USEFUL features as processing power for multimedia tasks, big screens with nice resolutions, but especially since we are talking about PHONES!!!, quad band support and triband UMTS/HSDPA support for real power users and world travellers (IMHO).

If you don't like it, fine, that's your right and opinion... But please keep your obscure questions to yourself. Go along now, go grab some cheap unsofisticated little phone with a huge Mpixel camara and pretend that you even know what a bit means.

              Peace and love,

              Nokia Design Engineer

P.S: btw, my favourite phones right now are the Xperia X1a or the HTC Fuze. Oh, only a 3.15 Mp camara and they have a QWERTY keyboard :-O What's the sense in that? ;-)

el-cheapo design look, poor battery life, maybe aim for pre-teen market

the specs looks like a mixed bag..why would anyone need qwerty when the phone doesn't have wi-fi and a sizable 2.4 inch screen? still, if it has same sound quality as 5800, it probably would appeal to those who want the 5800, but could not stand using a touch screen..

its not a horrible handset... oh wait it kinda is! Dont like the plastic look (esp. the blue) and cant for the life of me see the sense in having alpha numeric and qwerty, especially in a music phone. Pointless.

i said it once and i'll say it again... Nokia is going downhill. money and time they waste on these poor handsets they could of developed a new nseries with latest software and upgrades

Unlike some idiots who are just blindly criticising this fone, I think this one's a simple masterpiece! With the number of ppl able to afford expensive handsets reducing, this is simply great, having a QWERTY keyboard with a music fone at such a low price tag (220 euros, according to MR). Simply fab, wish this announcement had come about 2 weeks earlier so that I could've waited for this rather than buying the 5320! :)
