Both are good, but preferences aside the Note3 has many advantages. And both are very fast.

Point is it's all gimmicks to someone. However most things here are actually useful.
If you are going to just simply call something a gimmick, especially for an off base reason, then don't be surprised when you are not met with love and kindness in return.
And you should not try and dictate what counts and does not count based of your own wants when all things are relevant.

I said i donot challenge...meaning...i don't say something against it neither dispute the daylight photography you pointed it out! It is there in open that Note3 has exhibited good daylight photography...and yes...air gestures are gimmicks for me...not Pureview nor 13mpx note3 cam module..for these are hardware to me!!!

And that hard... moreI agree...hardware and software goes together...where i differ is, software is written for a function to be executed and how nicer and easy and rich to use it is attributed as a term "user experience"... But ... But...you must agree 40mpx capable camera is a hardware! If u read my other comments below, i said oversampling is software...what i emphasize is the camera, shutter exposure and ois, which stands apart...Air gesture is a piece of software and i call it a gimmick....thats all! I don't disagree on Sammys 13mpx daylight pic capability...on par with nokia. Where Nokia stands is low light photography...where the sensor itself, shutter capability and ois plays and excels it from all...!!!now this i call it hardware...not user experience! Otherwise, Sammys daylight photography ,,,i do not challenge!

what comes out in the end is the experience the user gets.
Aka end user experince. Which comes from how the hardware and software work together.
And speaking of the camera for instance. As the shootout and results show. Even though the 1520 has a larger sensor, plus has 7mp more "13 vs 20", PurView, and OIS. The note was still able to capture pics in daylight with the same or slight more detail while the 1520's had slightly more natural colors.
Now I like both and both work well, but going by your logic....that would make that a horrible gimmick.
