well,here is my observations;
z1 was also destroyed when they do the dropped test. no more on home screen except the lights!
they do not even show the distance when they dropped g2!
z1's corners did not hit the ground,while g2's corner hits the ground!
okay... blah...blah..blah...
Bottomline; THEY WERE BOTH DESTROYED!

LG optimus G was made of entire gorilla glass (back and front) and it was released long time before Z,or Z1.
a plastic phone is more safe and good for your health.
A PHONE MADE OF PLASTIC IS NOT AN ISSUE FOR US. Okay....
MOST OF SONY PHONES WERE MADE OF PLASTIC TOO...
