SE shipped 24.2 million units for forth quarter. That’s not bad. Nokia and Motorola shipments are highly going down. Still SE is better than Motorola. Only Motorola shipped 19 million units for Q4. SE is still 0.7 million back from LG.
Compare Q1 to Q4 shipment variants
Definitely SE again overtakes LG in Q1 2009 like Q3 2008. Because SE good phones just started shipping strongly.

OMG you have got to be kidding me.....SE makes all sorts of phones from most expensive smart phones as well as cheapest handsets........... LG clearly out sells and is very deserving of 3rd place in 2008. But I do admit that LG winning phone of the year award was a bit suspicious....

S.E are killing themselves...they have very xpensive phones that arent that great for the low end market...nokia and samsung hav an edge over that with the n5000, n2600, n6085, sgh-e250, e251, j700, j750, LG KF510, and the rest...

Main power of se is their brand "walkman,cybershot,bravia" from sony..but it doesn't mean it can perform as good as sony which now even has serious challenge from samsung at electronics consumer..n even now samsung more popular in emerge country..i ever had nokia 3650,6610i,SE k750,W810,Nokia N73,Samsung i450,Nokia n95 n now is .. .. .. nobody knows..but i'll try other vendor like lg or moto

Megabass just push bass only n destroy mid n treble,plus too much distortion at max volume.. Cybershot fone also defeated at 5-8mp battle, u can read at this site or M-R,Smape,etc write N95,N82,U900,G800,G810 beats k850 or c902, Innov8 also beats c905 pics quality except Cybershot ui n xenon flash! Their uiq also failed to compete with other os like s60,winmo,etc...but the biggest mistake is se push a200 platform to fight at multimedia role...as we know s60 much2 dominated at this sector...n build quality was terrible compared older se fone like w800,k750,t610.too much complain from se user about build issue..Now like people said that walkman era was gone,mr carl zeiss nokia n generic samsung wins at cam fone battle..Last year se cuts 2000 jobs plus few cuts at uiq tech..n some site said that sony unhappy about se financial result! thru 2008 se finacial at serious problems! that's why sony want to divorce from this joins! It seems that sony ericsson as weak as moto..

No third class phones from SE
HTC & Apple have no class phones, so what?
And may I add...
Best in terms of voice quality...for capturing all the background noise EXCEPT the speaker's own voice...nobody tops SE on that, especially its bar phones!

i think sony ericsson's sold only smart and multimedia fone and i m asian(india) here i can't see low range fone in any hand. they only preffer , nokia and lg(cdma) only and motorolla tooo
