Somehow I don't believe what apple is saying. Just another reason for never even considering an apple product.

Google, Microsoft, Apple - all do the same, dont care about privacy, but who care ? People use accounts on gmail, live, facebook so wtf we talking about ? If we dont care about privacy so who will do it, private companies will do anything for money, first blame yourself, then ur government.

This de-negation doesn't worth anything since apple is a US company. remember that the patriot act forbid any US company to revel work with NSA

From a view from outside of the window, we could not know for sure of what truly happen and it is also a common sense that even if Apple truly did it, they would outright deny it otherwise their iphone sells would plummeted.

Only in America... Only in America we would have a secret police within a so called Democracy.
Yes, NSA is more and more looking like the old KGb, PIDE -DGS, SS, Stazi or so many other Secret Polices of dictatorships that we have heard of on the past.

dealreaker, 02 Jan 2014to the ones who is going to start bashin Apple, NSA is alre... moreWe bash Apple for not telling the truth and we should bash everyone else for doing the same. I don't think anybody would deny that Google is in bed with the NSA. Apple, Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, Facebook, AOL and the list goes on are either directly or indirectly cooperating with NSA, according to leaked docs. It's patriotic duty or else you are against the US(freedom and democracy).

Of course they deny working with NSA. Everyone deny it. If one would say "Yes we work with NSA" they would lose customers and the company may end up in bankruptcy.

Just like when it was discovered that your every step and location was traced by your i device from day one and jobs denied the whole idea....Then within days said something along the lines of possible and then within the next few days claimed it was "a bug" and there would be a "fix".....Riiiiggggghhhhhhtttttt.......

Of course they will deny, nobody's stupid enough to admit their company is in bed with NSA.

Moral of story: Never trust "secure" system that's not open source.

Why are these guys denying their workmates...iphone will automatically download updates from 2013 onwards...to save time for the user!

NSA does a good job, helping keep your secrets, so that, in case you forget them, they have them safely stored....

                              Ahahahahsohohohoh.

Big surprise here. Same as AT&T and Verizon, companies either have no comment or deny it...then eventually the truth comes out that they've lied.

Corporate ethics is dead in the USA.

Ahahaha, what a joke of the century!
Of course Apple will patch their holes that NSA needs to access Apple's products.
It's not like NSA is a goverment driven agency and the goverment can plunge the tax loophole.
And it's not like Apple is not using that tax loophole and had to pay 0.05% tax of their earnings.
Tim: We will plunge all securty holes regardless of who is using them.
                                    Obama: No, you will not!
                                    Tim: Yes, I will!
Obama: OK, we will then plunge the tax loophole.
Tim: I think we can make an exception since we're an American based company and we (they clearly showed that by banning porn and actively fought against jailbreaking) as same as NSA all look for the better of our great glorious nation and their citizens (north koreans have the same slogan! LOL).

And like the terrorists who fight against Americans use American products (double LOL)!
