Earlier they made simple large button phones for old people. I feel that was isn't right. Old people need a large display phone with photo contacts of friends and relatives on at least 7 pages, all indexed. Obviously if the contacts are many then the photo size would be a little smaller as is for most apps. If the resolution of the screen is good it is very easy to recognize whose photo is there on the screen even if it is small !! This is not so easy if the screen resolution isn't good. Besides the Album photos of friends and relatives show awesome clarity on high resolution screen and it is a pleasing to look at. If one is a fan of video songs then they are a pleasure to watch in HD videos on high resolution screens. Use it for a while and see how you can appreciate it.

So first you say that I am entitled to my opinion then you call my tastes juvenile? And fyi I prefer htc's sense UI over all other android manufacturers NOT LG or Samsung. Having said that, I personally own a nokia windows phone and am very happy with it so this is not a matter a ''juvenile taste''. Its like telling someone who likes watching anime that they are still a kid. Different ppl, different opinions.

Sony now just uses their own patents and manufacturing process for them. They stilk rely on LCD because most of their TV have LCD panels. They havent moved massively to Amoled as Samsung.

sony explained that xperia z1 will remain flagship of sony in 2014 and this policy will remain at least until IFA. so no flagship from sony in ces of this year.

There will be no 805 powered device at CES 'cause it is not production ready yet. Also Sony seems to be moving to one flagship device per year just like the other companies... and is only the Z1 mini which is going to see international release at CES, or maybe some 6" midranger.
