I guess only the poor northern EU countries will get the really cheap (best buy) phones.
Same applies for any electronic gadget!

I am from Portugal and bought my phone from amazon UK. The problem in my country is that the phone companies have tons of overpriced Samsung and iphones to sell. And refuse to sell phones like nexus 4/5 nexus 7 or even new moto g.I sure hope that Google can lower the access price on smartphones. And if you buy a non Google phone you only get one update for it. And after 1y you new to buy their new phone so you van get it. About the update i am still waiting for it no worries. After I get it I can show off to some friends with Samsung's and lg's that won't get it officially, unless off they buy the new s5 or wathever they release.

really disappointed with updating my moto g to kitkat.

If you use flash drives etc on your Moto G then stay with v4.3... You've been warned!

If dealer in your country doesn't want to import 16GB model, you can cry in front of their office and nothing will change.... I live in Croatia and our official dealer for Motorola said that they won't import Moto G at all.

Stonka, 11 Jan 2014Got my update last night and now the battery power does not... moreNot had chance to test the battery as yet but why the heck can`t they leave firmware well alone as why fix something that works perfectly ?I have the moto g 16gb which is a great phone and flawless up to the point KitKat arrived and now i have volume issues in the sense the volume on speaker and ear piece turns it`s self down to about 3rd volume and you can`t turn it back up unless you reboot the phone ! Come on google lets sort this out A.S.A.P. because this glitch is a very annoying one indeed .Having the top bar in white now instead of blue looks a bit naff as well !Coming out with new firmware is great but not if it`s not been tested and has issues like mentioned ! Got my update last night and now the battery power does not last well annoyed as it does say will save on battery power..anyone else have the same issue..

Bought Moto G from UK Phone 4 U.
Will I get 4.4 kitakat update.
Still no sign of update on handset :(

I am waiting for this phone like anything
My only concern is after sale service in India. ALL features are good and latest but if service is poor then it will be a flow show.
Please ensure you give a better service.
