Dani, 23 Jan 2009Becuase afer i see said that comment i tested a iPhone 3G a... morecool. the iphone didn't work for me because of the camera and the battery life. I prefer an all around smartphone such as the n95-3 and the n93i. Do you live in the US?. Here in the US of A the iphone hype is dead, and the device is old school. what is keeping it alive are the software and applications. again, apple needs to upgrade the device (upgrade the camera), instead of just softwares and applications.

i hardly use my iphone. i even recently purchased the touch pro/fuze through att. I'll return it to the weak camera led flash and weak battery life. HTC should accomodate powerful camera led flashes in their pda phones to compete with nokia, samsung, and SE.

Still waiting for MY own phone but tested a phone today which i didn't buy since it was a bit used (I want to get my own BRAND NEW phone) And well it was perfectly AWESOME!!! It was pure magic to my hands & the response on it was great for me... Checked out most of the features on the phone in about 5mins & the mini review is:
*Screen was fantastic!: Resolution, Size & Colors. Responsiveness of the resistive screen seemed to be good but could be cos even if im a big man, my long fingers are also thin & used to typing out a lot on both phone & pc keyboards. My thumbs hurt a BIT since i wasn't used to bending them that much but otherwise it was fine.
*Camera was great: After using a sub par 5700XM 2MP FF cam, that was just perfect. So fast in loading up, AF, taking it, showing the preview & finally going to the next shot. Ive used good camera phones but that was amazing! Quality was said to be really bad but the few shots that i took even under the table (as that was the only dark scenario that i could come up with at the time) was VERY good. May not be a cybershot but for a casual da vinci like me, it will be a angel! Didn't get to check the video which is supposed to be great.
*Touch input was totally rocking - Ive used a few touch phones from SonyEricsson, LG, Palm, Bird, HTC & Apple & well i usually hate the haptics to the point where i wanna switch it off but this was just the rite amount to feel like you were pressing physical buttons. Used all the input methods other than hand writting & i just fell in love with it all! I can even use the mini qwerty without missing letters & the full qwerty will be my favorite! Even the standard mode was good enough to feel like i was using any other phone with physical keys.
*Didn't get a chance to check out the sounds/video playback.
*Picture gallery & accelerometer were awesome. Only the iPhone had something better. The only time i noticed a bit of effort being used on the part of the Tube was when i tried to zoom in. Still it was not killer bad.
Overall, this phone on a open-minded persons hand is going to be poetry in motion. If you have already though that the iPhone or any other phone is going to be better, then this is not going to be matching up. I originally loved the phone but a few reviews scared me to the point that i wasn't sure if this was going to be the phone for me. But after using that beast, i am planning to tame it for my self as soon as I can. Its a seriously worth smart & fun phone to buy on a budget & from what I saw, its going to be on a league of its own with it being the PERFECT match between style, functionality, design & overall value for price!!! :)

i remember you made a remark about the iphone that it is kid's toy. all of sudden you jumped in the apple iphone bandwagon...praising it...lol.
i cant wait for the 5800 to hit the US market this march. i will definitely buy it. I am sure nokia will repair the bugs on the latest models (shipments)

saw it in the market and its a great cell for teenagers like me, its at a good price here.. just a bit less than what i paid for a N85 around 3 months ago, saving up to buy it for a friend

5800 is way better then the iphone GSMArena votes even prove this.
