Actually the sealed design is much easier to put together and design.
Samsung made metal phone last year for Japan market, and it's much cheaper than S4.
As I said before, such articles are nothing more than Apple's advertizing , hidden behind "Samsung's article".

I ... moreScreen size alone is not everything! And many people now still would love full keyboards.
Back in that era phones were not very largr and Nokia had some larger screened ones.
They ruled with Symbian and cameras. Most powerful operating system back then. Still very capable now with modernizing and lack of apps being the main fall back.
Even in the era of S1 and Iphone 4 Nokia had the DUAL core N9.
So yes look towards Nokia for innovation. That was just a tiny itty bitty glimpse pertaining to what you said.
As far as apple steeling, restricting, and scamming is not innovation.

A fair few people mistake class and style with money.If you look at rather expensive homes etc such things as an onyx bath certainly isn't classy or stylish. Look at the 'exclusive' phone you see on here with crystals or gold etc.
Class and style is far more than that. Sticking on aluminimum (ok, so i'm British) isn't going to make it a premium product, it's the way it looks as well as the way it feels and its usability that make it that bit special.
Ok, now i know people will think i'm bashing Samsung, i've had them, i've used many of the makes out there. The Nokia 3310 is a good example of how a phone felt classy as well as stylish in the hand, you have to think back to that era and there are plenty of people who miss them, they had that something special.
I understand Samsung trying to fill every niche within a market but then the hardware they produce gets lost within their own mass range. Now having the choice of either metal or plastic housings! They need to choose one and stick to it. Choice is good, too much choice means we end up demanding more.
Where does it stop with all the options, magnetic cases so you can stick them to cars and fridges, or suction cup cases so the phone can be in the shower with you.

Wether its metal, plastic, wood or cement, i just hope that the back cover can be removed so I can put a Ferrari flip cover. What's all the fuss considering that its just the back thats getting an overhaul.
