Xperia Z2, aka 'Sirius' leaked. Possible MWC debut

The rumored Sony 'Sirius' is actually the the Xperia Z2, and will debut at Mobile World Congress 2014.

A friend @ Sony's told me that the z2 mini (compact, f/s, whatever) will have a 4,5" full hd screen. As far as i know the smallest fhd-screen out there is in the HTC One (4,7").. so it must be screen that is not produced yet?? (or it is false info?)

    someone, 13 Jan 2014If Z2 has SD 805 chipset and extremely thin bezels, then I ... moreThe bezels will continue to be "big" relatively to other phones such as Samsungs and LG... because the 20.7 MP camera needs to go almost all the way through the body, so it cannot go directly behind the screen... it needs to be on top (that creates a big bezel above the screen). Also for the water certification to be reached, it needs to have a sealed construction with port covers, and just like that extra space around the body is needed again, so "big" bezels on the sides...

    In my opinion the bezels on the Z1 Compact are actually reasonable for such a beast... but I do agree on the z1 (also a problem on the Asus PadFone Infinity 1,2) that for a 5" phone overall is too big.

    I will go for the compact because being smaller will also most likely make it more resistant.

    And the difference between 340ppi and above cannot be distinguished by my eyes...

      If the bezel at top and bottom is decreased then i may think about this as my mext upgrade. The z1 looks good but its a big phone for a 5 inch display.

        I thought Samsung released too many flagships... For some reason I feel like I've seen more Sony flagships.

          Still noth worth buying untill there's Z1C / Z1S. Resolution makes no difference.

              This is barely an improvement from Sony. Z1 stands as one of the most capable droids out there and only improvements are a bigger battery and a bigger screen( MSM8974AB is just a enhanced Snapdragon 800 and still not the most powerful one). Z2 has to have slimmer bezels than the Z1,at least a Snapdragon 805, 2 gigs of RAM are enough but 3 wouldn't be bad and they have to improve the screen quality. That would be a decent successor to the Z1.

                And that's why, while a good effort, the Z1C is NOT a "compat flagship".

                Z2 *IS* the flagship and it has higher specs.

                The Z1C is still sort of a "galaxy mini"

                    Z1 is still holding it's ground very well.. I think releasing the z2 so eraly is a mistake. Unless they actually can outspec next generation flagships earlier!

                        Z2 compact would be 4.5". Now that would be another hit nextyear. But for now I'll go for z1 compact as soon as it is available.

                          I read from the numerous rumors, Sony Xperia Z2 must contain the following basic specs for great light display and faster processor:
                          1.Display.- 5.2 inch -- IGZO -- Triluminos -- X-Reality Engine -- Mobile Bravia Engine 3
                          2.Memory.- 3 or 4 GB RAM
                          3.Chipset.- Snapdragon 805 - 64-bit
                          4.Battery.- 3700 mah

                              I hope the upper and lower bezel is thin so it can be used even with one hand...cause my Z1 is at the limit what my hands can use
