I hope that the Sony Xperia Z2 will be launched with the Snapdragon 805 and with an IGZO 2K display! This might be the one to go head to head with the upcoming Samsung GS5 and the iPhone 6 this 2014. 3GB of RAM will also be an amazing bonus since Android is really a heavy open UI that has to be equipped well with all the stuff it needs to avoid being laggy but without that issue, Android is the king of all OS and next will be Windows Phone. :)

It is a Snapdragon 800 device, not 805.

Arjun, 13 Jan 2014This rumor might not see the light of the day, since Xperia... moreSony will most likely go with LTPS, not IGZO (I believe LTPS is already used in Z1C and ZU), as LTPS (also used in 2013 Nexus 7) is more energy-efficient than IGZO.

What you have seen sratched is the anti-shatter film applied to their handsets. Just install a screen protector on top of it and quit whining.

No, Xperia is by far the coolest brand name among Android handsets. Xperia stays, haters can just sod right off.

not good, sony shud put a corning gorilla glass 3 for the protection of the sreen, ive seen the drop test of the sony's z1 vs the lg g2. the lg g2 is solid. sony's scratch resistant is weak.

Total device size will stay the same, so bezels will be slightly thinner, very slightly.
No screen lottery this time, it will have the same screen quality as Z1 compact and Z1 Ultra.
S805 will not be possible, that was Qualcomms fault.
Battery will be 3500mAh, everything else is bogus.
And it will not have an extremely slim profile!

Trust me, I have absolutely no knowledge.

Remove the huge bezel, change your screen type and dont go behind 9mm thickness with that 3700mah

If the bezel is as slim as the ZL then I will consider it, other than that, no. The bezels on the Z1 and Z are way to big.

What i didnt like about Sony these days are the onscreen buttons. Design wise their phones are beautiful. The onscreen buttons ruined it!

This rumor might not see the light of the day, since Xperia Z1S just debuted in the United States. On the other hand, Sony's also got Z1 Compact, which by the way is being preferred to its bigger brothers Z1/Z1S. No sane OEM would release another flagship with similar specs within a span of one month.

Xperia Z2 is more likely to debut after June, probably at IFA, with Snapdragon 805, 3 Gigs of RAM, 5.2" IGZO display with 2560x1440 resolution. The 20.7 MP snapper and IP58 certification go without saying.
