No mcard,bluetooth limited,512ram only,single core,crappy old 5mp rare camera(even though their 8mp cams r crappy like hell quality!),grainy vga front camera ,only like wvga screen resolution,
Small screen3.5,and then 8gig???
Usable is more like 5 gig and then u will update its ios for 3gig,
2gig left ! And then you will have to take a plenty of pix,vids,music,and apps that must be updated..
Now is that enough???
Is it worth for the price???
icrap now is in their desperate moves,
Indians r not dat fool..
id rather buy android,like Z1 or w8 nokia 1020 !

Hardly surprising.
Apple is still selling the 3GS in a number of markets (including the USA - go to your local Walmart or online if you have doubts) even though you can't load ios 7 on it.
Nothing like milking a product and bilking the consumer.

Hi all, please for the gods sake stop writing all this crap comments like Apple is dumping old stock in India, Apple is way to overpriced, apple is short of features, apple is way to restrictive, bla bla
Look it's upto an individual whether he/she wants to buy or not. Apple is not coming to your place and robbing your money, it's people who themselves go and make they purchase.
It is this iPhone that brought about revolution in screen quality by being one of the first smartphone with more than 300ppi, accept the fact that world went crazy after high resolution screens after this phone came into existence. About updates, damn you guys this phone has received ton load of updates starting from iOS 4.0 to iOS 7.1, how many more updates you get in your loved so called android?
So in short cut the crap about what you think about apple and it's products. Instead write something useful so it can help people to who are potential buyers and debating between which phone to buy. Not just Apple is this, Apple is that and all crap.
Btw ₹15000 ie $244 for factory unlocked model is still in competition with rates in other countries coz factory unlocked phone is expensive everywhere, just don't compare it with carrier subsidised on contract prices, thank you.

I mean seriously, It clearly states "Apple relaunching 8GB iPhone 4 in India to boost sales" so apple wants our money again and by doing what? serving us with a 3rd generation CRAPPLE-PHONE where half of the features doesn't work and are not meant to work out of US. If they wouldn't have launched a piece of known 5C(CRAP) and 5S(SHIT) and would have modified 4 with advanced features then would have got our honesty ....Pray that you still have your markets in india , well micromax has better oppurtunities then you people. Its not always about making money but also delivering products that values the money .

Hated iphone 4 camera i always got blurred shots and still has antennae problem,,,8gb is taking the mickey they could put 64gb in for a couple GBP.tHE IPHONE 4 WITH 8GIGS IS A 100gbp BUDGET PHONE.Plus its over 3 years old.Plus no Siri .
It is offensive to Indians and just apple trick to sell off unsold 3 year phones..My goodness 8 gigs.

Rightly said that the iPhone has aspirational value for Indians, but promoting a 3 generations old phone (with such a small screen) is really milking profits at the hands of gullible customers...and I feel sad that my fellow Indians would still queue up to get the Apple gadget!
Personally, although I feel that the iPhone is a decent product for what it offers, it is way too overpriced while still missing features.
Being an Android fan, I don't see any value in spending the money without getting the features/value except for a tag perceived to elevate your social standing in India!
Really hope the other brands go aggressive in their marketing to show what all this lacks compared to the newer generation phones at similar/slightly higher price points.

But then they outsource the manufacturing part to others such as processors to Samsung, screens to LG, body and camera to Sony, so on and so forth..

Ha, even apple knows the price of their phones are insane. Here in Nigeria you can get a brand new s4 & a used s3 for the price of the iPhone 5s. And theres no bragging about it either, people be like "yo dude are you that stupid". Dont get me wrong the iPhone is a cool gadget, the price is not.
