IPS displays ARE TFT displays. In fact, all LCD and AMOLED displays are TFT. TFT is thin-film transistor, which has nothing to do with the panel type. In fact, Sony's displays are TFT IPS-LCD. Triluminos refers to Sony's displays that use quantum dot back lighting, instead of plain white LED back lighting.

Sony should release E1 at least:
-5 MP Camera with flash
-1 Gb ram
- Add MEGA BASS back
- Music light like wt19i
The only thing I don't like is 3 mp camera with no flash...
WHY!!!???
Totally I'm gonna buy this phone if it 5 mp with flash

Sony I'd moving fast
I was just 2011 when they got full control over xperia.
Sony has deep entertainment expertise and tools that could be integrated in their phone, it will bring them such advantage.
Imagine a fully integrated psp.
May not be possible now, but the chips are progressing very fast. It only takes a matter of time.

The Xperia T2 ultra uses an IPS-lcd triluminous display with HD 720p resolution screen with 220ppi..
It has a snapdragon200 cortex-a7 quadcore 1.4ghz processor with adreno 305 gpu, this is what I found on the official sony blog! and the battery in press release is li-ion 3050mah...
Xperia E1's screen details were not easily available. And the cpu is 1.2ghz cortex-a7 snapdragon200 with adreno 302 gpu. Both support opengl es3.0 and all other features of 4.3 and 4.4 android so these phones will most likely get 4.4
The T2 ultra is scheduled for 4.4 but couldn't find anything for E1...
All this is from official blog and press release!
But if E1 gets 4.4, then each 2013 phone will get 4.4(thats a personal idea, but i m pretty sure)
and sony's skin is absolutely light so it won't have any issues running 4.4 either for very high ppl who will argue with me!

4.3" or 4.7" display with over 300 pixels, HD resolution, Gorilla Glass 3, 100dB sound, Walkman, 13 MP camera with dual LED flash, 1.2 GHz Quad-core MT6589T cortex A7 processor, 2 GB RAM, slide out qwerty keyboard, 3000 mAh removable battery and price under $400. It will be a hit in Asia.

I waiting, waiting and waiting for almost 3 years just to get brand new WALKMAN phone...
But when it comes, it comes like E1, sucks....
Arrgh, maybe I have to believe that walkman phone seems to be dead now....

That's , why I'm disappointed why sony just add music feature in that phone, look dumb phone sony Ericsson w995 that phone is branded with WALKMAN but if that phone only great in music??? NO it has 8.1 mp camera and for dumb phone it's awsome and there's a flashlight....
So why sony only add music feature on "SMARTPHONE" xperia E1????
That's a BIG question...
