jb, 24 Jan 2014lol, yet you "trolls" have been saying that for y... moreActually, after being the king of the mobiles for more than a decade, having been given billions of Dollars by Microsoft in the last few years to make WP products, Nokia's phone business went from top of the hill to dire straits, to the point where they sell it for an apple and an egg to Microsoft. The Nokia phone business is dead, deal with it. At least for now. Microsoft will stick the name to cheap dumb phones for 2 years, which is meaningless as that market is shrinking faster than a hot air balloon with the top blown off. In 2 years from now though, Finn Nokia is allowed again to enter the phonemarket, which may be a second life to them. For now Nokia mobile, is dead.

I don't know about the rest of the world, but in my country (Poland), Nokia always used to be a hugely popular company hence all Lumia handset prices are sky-high. The 1520 is currently 50% more expensive than the Note 3 - this is a bit of a joke IMO, but Nokia seems to be doing quite well here with Windows Phone market experiencing a constant rise. If not for this ridiculous pricing I'd be willing to switch from Android.

andriod is so popular due to price of device is so low except samsung or others n availabilty of android softwere. ... nokia is still popular but anyone can not buy nokia due to it price level is too high... as for example ,in bangladesh lowest price of samsung andriod is about 8000tk or low,and local andriod is found within 4000 tk,but lowest price of nokia 520 is 13000tk... for this reason, the person ,who does not know the proper use of andriod, but he wants to buy andriod, but he can not buy nokia lumia.. but the lumia still attract general people.... so if nokia can built more phone in low price range,it will again be popular phone ... high end phone can not increase the sell of nokia lumia,..lumia 520 is a better example

Nokia should partner with its old employees now Jolla so they could still produce phones. They could venture developing sailfish or pursue android and rise again.

Nokia should continue with windows and must not think of android. We do not need another company making android phones. There are plenty in the market already. Nokia's windows phones provide variety for we consumers. They are a fresh breeze in a market full of android offerings. Nokia should continue polishing windows, improving its versatility and improve quality and number of apps.

With the sale of the phone division Nokia has become a cash cow. No one is going to invest in Nokia until they figure out their next step of action. That is why it dropped today. It is dead money right now. I pulled my money out so I can invest in something else right now.

You just wait. When Nokia comes up with how to spend the money. If it is a good plan, it will rise again.

My theory was limiting the number of sales of device to satisfy shareholder's vote on the sale of the phone division by controlling the geographic release of the phone. In no way you addressed any of my points. You just go on blabbing about something else.

However, I do agree with you about Nokia's terrible decisions. I am not sure what country you live in but Canada always get Nokia phones couple months behind initial release date. ie Nokia 1020. Who the hell wants a phone that is 3 months old.

They need to learn from Apple's mistake. At first, Apple was selective on which country gets an iPhone first. They lose market share to Samsung and now Apple releases the iPhone almost in every country at the same time.

This is the high end technology sector. Everyone interested in high end technology wants the newest right away. They don't want to wait. Even if it does come out in Canada now, I will probably get the new Samsung S5.

Btw, Nokia 1320 vs. Nokia 1520 and 1020 are completely different segments. Its like comparing Samsung S4 vs. Samsung S4 mini.

Before calling someone high you should read. I said its a theory. It's not right or wrong. If I can prove it, it's called a fact and I would of sold my shares yesterday.
