If you don't like it then don't buy it, no one is forcing you. Incase you didn't read the article well it says it is launching in China not worldwide. China folks prefer dual sim than single sim so also do the Indians and a few African countries.

Now, the Moto G dual sim has a 4.5" monitor backed by a quadcore cpu and android 4.4 and cost less than $250 while knowing samsung, this collection of 2011 trash wont sell under $400.
