s4 or one exact copy just a little smaller so yes sony
has the only True "mini" version of its flagship but others have cheap low spec devices marketed as flagship phone mini versions to milk more money out of people.

YES, Z1 Compact is better that S4 Mini and One Mini, but that's because Z1 Compact is actually a high-end smartphone, while those two are not. (Midrange!!!~)
Let's not forget the price too, S4 Mini is cheaper than this, too.
Never, ever go full retard, when comparing two phones from different classes. Ever.

finnalyy the replacement for my S2 is here.....
still,ill wait to see if samsung and htc will do a proper s5 mini/one (or whatever it will be called) mini this year...because i think they will be forced to do it if the compact will be a hit.
also sony is known to have high price on launch but in 2-3 months they will drop it to a normal price
come one samsung and htc get in the competition going and do proper 4,3 inch 720p or 1080p high end phones that will live tho their big brothers name.

Good price. It's not a mini phone, it's a flagship with smaller footprint, how can anyone would expect to have low price like Galaxy S4 mini for example? They are not in the same tier. Also it will be cheaper in other countries.

Not a bad price. 520€ for a flagship phone is nice.
But I'm afraid it's gonna be closer to 620€ here in Slovenia. The regular size Z1 costs here 650€.

I think...this masterpiece from SONY will develop same craze as of Apple's iPhone.
Soon, we will witness, people waiting outside shop to grab it. Hope it will do wonders...
