This is the Eten Glofiish DX900 rebranded since Acer bought Eten. This is a really advanced phone. Having quad band GSM and dual active SIMs is fairly rare with a high quality phone plus it has 3G on SIM no. 1 that works in North America and Europe, Asia, Oceania (CDMA 850,1900, 2100). This is extremely rare. It also has Wifi and Windows Mobile Pro. 6.1.

"Acer DX900 will be the first dual-SIM device, which will support high speed HSDPA/UMTS connection along with the standard GSM/EDGE on both its SIM card channels. "

It will not support HSDPA/UMTS on both SIM card channels. Only one of the modules is UMTS capable. But thats the way , rumours sometimes do spread.
Some fake pics, some guesses , ready for the news ;-)

this phone looks like a 2005 revolutionary phone. The sickest part is that the looks have nothing new. Apple, LG, HTC will ruin this grandpa. im not quoting nokia because its a different thing altogether.

2 sim card + 3g = drain the battery... the design isn't what I expect from Acer (acer introduces their "gem" concept for all of the notebook products but i dont see that "gem" concept in this phone), i think HTC made better design than acer. Lots of smartphone makers now and what made them different is the design... So please acer... re-design...

That's a good one,ACER. But the specs sheet is too scanty for any positive comment at least from me, though the fact that is Dual sim and 3G is enough to make one salivate. But i am begining to fall in luv with Toshiba TG01. The fact that Acer prices are customer-friendly makes one beg for more on the spec of the Acer DX900. Goodluck,Acer.

Gr8 work from Acer. This is what the people really want. Full 3G support dual-sim phone. Now please release something similar with full keyboard and probably a larger screen and HTC will run :))
